Great local Barbecue restaurant. Excellent service. The spicy sauce was very good. Stew was excellent. Pork is chopped. I usually do not like chopped/pre-sauced pork but theirs was excellent. Silver Comet cyclist friendly. We will be back!

Friendly service, food was on point for the money. We ordered Philly cheesesteaks. The meat was tastey and the sandwich was well prepared. Portions were great. Fried pickles were the best I’ve had in a while. This is a country BBQ place. I will be back.

Everybody was polite the only issue I had was the food. Got me and hubby a BBQ plate and it didn’t taste good at all. Most BBQ taste good but this one was not, also it was grounded up too fine The fried green tomatoes were very salty but the Cole slaw and toast was really good

I’ve been eating here for over 30 years since they were at the end of Prospect Rd in the old white house. The food has always been great tasting but in recent years the price keeps going up and quantity down. You will not get a bad plate of food here. So many good things to eat here that it is hard to make my mind up on what I want on most visits.

If I could give 10 ⭐️ I would. This place is awesome. The Staff is always friendly and courteous to customers. The owner himself even comes out to serve food and talk to customers and to me that says it all. He really genuinely cares about his customers and the experience they have in his restaurant. Every town needs a Bar L BBQ in my opinion.
