Being filipino, I had to try the taco tagalog, which was pork adobo w. rice, and it was okay. It was too dry due to the amount of rice and double taco, but when I got to the por adobo, it was very tasty. Also had the fresh mozzarella wrapped with prosciutto and sprinkled w. sundried tomatoes, and that was AMAZING!! The main entre was the wagyu steak w. pached egg and potatoes, and it was okay. Our waitress was really friendly and patient, along with the rest of the staff.

We had dinner on the porch and enjoyed ourselves. Server and chef were aware of a food allergy and made sure all food was safe to eat. Went downstairs to Bar Louis, and Bob our bartender was phenomenal. He made an awesome Expresso martini and recommended dessert. Bob was a great conversationalist and gave a great history lesson about the property.

Atmosphere was nice, service tried their best and kept apologizing for the long wait. Food – for the atmosphere and price point – was embarrassing to say the least. We shared two apps and each got an entree. Everything was awful. The burger was one of the worst I’ve ever had. It’s really hard to mess up a burger that bad. Definitely a frozen, tasteless patty over cooked to oblivion. Paper straw in a martini??? It was like airport food at best.

Love the new chef & menu! The all-around quality was a big step up from our previous few visits when they were serving the old menu (we agree with other reviewers that the restaurant hadn’t been at its best since new ownership took over, but it seems they’ve heard the feedback and responded in a big way). Service and wait time had been an issue last time we were there (before the recent re-launch) but both were excellent this time around. We were brought a bottle of wine that was 3 years younger than the year listed on the menu, and even though it had been opened and 2 glasses poured before we noticed, as soon as we mentioned it they brought us the right year and apologized for the mistake. Classy! The taco appetizer, duck entree, and honey-lavender cheesecake dessert were all INCREDIBLE, and we enjoyed the mozzarella app and steak main as well. Everything cooked and plated to perfection! Portions are neither massive nor tiny–an entree alone *could* fill you up but you’ll likely have just enough room for a starter and/or dessert. We look forward to returning many times for future special occasions!

What a cozy little place in Mildford! We were road-tripping around Pennsylvania and found this little gem at the Hotel Fauchere.

Things have certainly changed in this restaurant over the years. Waited over a half hour for the food and also waited 10 minutes before we were asked for our drinks. Not even close to full capacity at the restaurant either. Such a disappointment!

Milford is amazing. The space is lovely. Things are going downhill, and I am sad to see this change. Tonight I got a paper straw in my martini. My friend got a broken glass. No host. No service. But still a high price point. I expect more from what was a great place.

Very disappointed, we were exited to visit that place because a friend worked there a while ago, not a busy night on sunday, the special Margarita wasn’t special, I didnt drink it and nobody ask if I like it, the butter nut squash soup didnt have no flavor at all, my wife ordered lobster ravioli was awful and nobody asked why she didnt eat it, they grilled cheese sandwiches, it was just cold cheese in a piece of bread, and they forgot my anniversary celebration.

We’ve been dining at the Fauchere for years, literally since it reopened a little over 10 years ago. The atmosphere is incredible as you are dining in a completely restored 150 year old hotel. The menu was always limited and a bit pricey for Milford, but the food was good and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, under the new ownership, while the service is still outstanding the menu has not changed much other than the quality of the food being just completely unacceptable. On our last couple of visits, steak (at $38 each) completely overcooked, despite us asking for medium rare. The same with burgers the time prior to that. I certainly hope the new owners read this as we’re locals and believe me this is the consensus among everyone we know who has dined here recently. We won’t return until again until we start hearing better feedback.

A very nice restaurant with an excellent atmosphere. The menu is very interesting and reasonably priced. The waitress was so pleasant and did her best but she could obviously use some training. No credit card surcharge is a plus plus too. We’ll definitely be back.
