Went during Queens Feast in Charlotte. There were 4 courses that were amazing! The Heirloom Salad was light and so refreshing. A great play on sweet and salty. The Duck Confit pasta and the salmon that followed was everything. For dessert the light and small lemon tart was perfect! Very nice cocktail options were also available.

Wow! What a great meal we had, and the cocktails were excellent. Service was great and our server was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Only thing is, parking is at a premium, but you can park at the Barnes and Noble about a block and half and then just walk over.

Absolutely phenomenal service, food and drinks! An all rounder. We didn’t make a reservation but were able to sit at the bar and we were so glad we did. We got looked after by Taylor who was absolutely amazing at conversation, drinks and recommendations. She recommended drinks as we both had not been here before and I got the Bourbon based cocktail with raspberry puree. I don’t remember what it was called but it was perfection. She recommended an IPA for my companion. We decided on the bar bites rather than a bigger dinner and the pork sliders do not disappoint not do the truffle fries with aoili. Do not hesitate to go here

If you haven’t tried this place out in SouthPark than you are truly missing out! My BF and I have been going here on Saturdays lately for evening drinks but never had the food until our last visit. The food was so delicious, flavorful and made to perfection! You also can’t beat the ambience that this place gives! Service has always been on par every time we visit as well. Everyone from the hostess as you walk in to the bartenders and the waiters are so genuine and polite, they truly create a great experience that will make you fall I love with it! Again, would highly recommend this place to visit and try out!

Absolutely fantastic meal. Octopus appetizer was the highlight but the paella was fantastic as well. Cocktails were top tier, considering the price they compete with the best cocktails in Charlotte. Our server, Jerome, was exceedingly fantastic and knowledgeable, as well as remaining approachable and friendly the whole meal even if our reservation time kept us there late right before close. Other staff members were very friendly and made our rare night out feel very special.

My family and I went here for my birthday dinner and everything was absolutely amazing! We all shared the Braised Octopus and the Brie Puff Pastry appetizers and they were really good and easy to share between 6 of us. For entrees, my boyfriend and I shared the Fish of the Day and the Duck Leg Confit Tagliarini and they were both excellent. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals a lot too, even my extremely picky sister who got the Half Roasted Chicken. Besides the food, Eddie gave us excellent service and was really nice to us. We also loved the atmosphere, it’s sophisticated, quiet, and perfect for a fancy dinner.

I had a blast at the previous restaurant week so naturally this was my first choice for the July restaurant week event. Unfortunately, I booked a seat on the patio but did not realize there would be so many flies. I expect there to be a couple flies outside but a fly landed in my husband’s drink before he even took a sip and on top of that, they still tried to charge us for the drink. Then it was a complete assault of flies when we received the first course. We couldn’t even enjoy the food because we spent most of the time trying to fan the flies away.

Genuine and welcoming atmosphere in this place. Our server Jerome was the best, very attentive and friendly. Food is delicious as always. Carrot soup reminded me of something from my childhood. Highly recommend bar Marcel to visit and try out cocktails and food. 10 out of 10
