We had a great experience and got to taste some amazing foods! I work at Caputo Brothers Creamery and we were in town for an outdoor festival. Bar Marco uses some of our cheese on their menu. The service and the food were excellent. Next time I need to spend the night in Pittsburgh so I can order a cocktail or try some of their natural wine selection.

A cute place that was hard to find since we were not from PA. It’s in an old fire engine building. Drinks were really good and I especially loved my espresso martini. Not overly impressed with the food unfortunately. Although my steak was cooked perfectly, the pasta dish with sausage was way too spicy to enjoy. It was described as having chili flake in it, but it had much more of a kick that expected. The cannoli was not good. The filling was thin and had a lemon/herb taste and was terrible. We didn’t even finish it. Sadly, this was our least favorite meal of our trip. Also, it was $8 to get 4 slices of bread and dipping oil. A little much IMO. Would go back maybe for drinks only.

Been waiting to get a reservation here for a while and finally got to go. Fantastic place with a cozy and calm atmosphere. The food was delicious and slightly on the small portion. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. What blew me away about Bar Marco was they do not accept tip. For a fine place, the 2 course menu was $45 per person which was very reasonably priced. Would come back again

Came to Bar Marco for dinner. The food was pretty good, I had the baked ricotta with shishito peppers.. something I’ve never had together before. The fusilli was my main, and I really enjoyed the ragu sauce with it. Was so full we skipped dessert. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice too!

First time in Pittsburgh, wanted to try the best restaurant in town, and this didn’t disappoint. I’m absolutely in love with their potato gnocchi. The desserts were all right but the meal itself was WOW!! We also found out that it’s “no a tip” restaurant which made it very affordable for what we got!

An absolute gem! We really enjoyed our experience here with phenomenal food and cozy ambience. Everything we had taste amazing. I had tagliatelle pasta, the mushroom blended nicely with the fragrance of lemon. The orecchiette was chewy and bathed in beef ragu.

Bar Marco is incredible! We went here after our engagement and reserved dinner in the wine room downstairs. The setup was perfect and the food was even better! Andrew, I’m not sure of his official position but he was also incredible in presenting the food and giving us the history of where it came from. Hands down the best food I’ve had in PGH. 12/10 recommend

We had our June 2022 wedding at Union Hall at Bar Marco and I truly couldn’t imagine hosting 68 of our closest friends and family at any other venue. The staff’s hospitality and attentiveness was unmatched — you could tell they were truly happy to celebrate our big day. Andrew’s (their event point of contact) demeanor is so warm, inviting and accommodating, and unlike any “wedding venue” I’ve ever experienced. The food wasn’t wedding food — it was just BOMB food with simple, seasonal ingredients. Our guests still rave about it! The cocktails from Jason were also unmatched. Also unlike other venues, tables/chairs/linens/glassware/flatware/plates/etc were included in the price — you’re welcome to bring in your own custom items, but we found what they offered to be more than fine. Wish we could get married here 100 more times!
