This was an interesting experience, the food was fantastic, authentic, and really flavorful. I loved it from the word go. The pear salad was simply amazing, and the best spaghetti I have ever eaten. Also they make their own lemon cello, which was also amazing. Again it is authentic, most of the rest of the world has about ⅒ the sugar we do in the desserts, the canoli is also amazing. Will be dining here again

Dined here last night, absolutely fantastic. One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The chefs came out and spoke to people about their wonderful dishes. Wine list is impressive as well. So glad we found this place.

Jonathan is a man! Best pizzas in Los Angeles! I live in San Francisco and every time I come to Los Angeles. I always stop by to enjoy Jonathan’s pizza. . You can tell he is master of his craft. Ingredients are all very fresh and he makes it all in house! Dough is very airy and light! If you are looking for best pizzas in LA look no further!

First review of any kind. I was compelled to write how poor of an experience we had at this restaurant. I came here to have a birthday lunch with a friend. The food was atrocious and to add insult to injury, the price was unjustifiable. I had a prosciutto type topped pizza (cold and soggy) and my friend the Wild boar stew (resembling something out of a can) neither one of us ate more than a third. Asked if we wanted bread – had no idea that 4 pieces of garlic bread would be $15. The only edible item was the calamari appetizer at $21. With two iced teas the bill came to $113 before tip – shocking. This was the old BossCat restaurant that was typically bustling – today there was just a handful of people (appears the people have spoken). The poor quality food, outrageous pricing, and mediocre service and atmosphere equates to a failed experience. I’m sorry for being so uncharacteristically harsh, but this is a restaurant that I will not be revisiting and, if asked, advising others to go elsewhere.

I had the crusted salmon and the tiramisu for dessert. The salmon was amazing and had a bit of flash fried dill on top that was just the perfect amount of flavor. Neither dish disappointed and both exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return and try more meals here.

Tremendous food and service in a locale brim with possibilities, a spectacular replacement for the Bosscat! The Housemade pastas, pizza, steak and burger all top notch. Must go!

A rare special on the menu was Wild Boar stew. Someone had it same day as me in an earlier review and they are out of their minds because this stew was insanely DELICIOUS. Hope they put it on the menu again. We had a party of 5 for a business type dinner. Everyone devoured their food and we all tried a bit of each others. Wild Boar Ragú was awesome, I could eat that every single day. Someone got the Calabrese pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The Raviolini Bolognese might be the best pasta item on the menu, but they’re all unreal. So delicious. Pesto was outstanding. We want to have our company party here as it’s a perfect spot. One of the most underrated restaurants in Orange County and selfishly, I hope it stays that way. Definitely coming back and thanks Francesco for the excellent service!!!

The first time I tried this restaurant it was in February because the hotel I stayed in referred me. My family and I went and the food was delicious. Our waitress was so nice and the owner came around and greeted us. The assorted bread was my favorite so of course being that I was in town for several days I went back. The next time wasn’t so pleasant. The lady at the bar was pretty rude, but I overlooked it. I returned this month stayed in the same hotel and of course wanted to go to Bar One. I ordered a to go order of assorted bread. When I arrived for pick up I was told To go to the bar. The rude lady was there. She brought me my order and when I looked at it, I noticed the bread was a little burnt. I brought this to her attention and she told me it wasn’t burnt. I informed her that I had had the bread before and it indeed was burnt. She snatched the container out of my hand and walked away to the kitchen. She never acknowledged my dissatisfaction. It was just a bad attitude. I decided not stay and told her to cancel the order because of how EXTREMELY RUDE she was. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant because of this.
