Normally restaurants at Nordstrom stores are a combination of good food and a beautiful environment. Unfortunately, this location is severely lacking the latter. We sat outside on the deck and I was shocked how bare it was and the floor was stained. There wasn’t one plant or even hanging lights. Zero decoration. That being said, the food was better than I thought, we ordered the club sandwich and Asian chicken salad and enjoyed both.

Food was decent. Service was good. Atmosphere wasn’t bad. We ordered their rigatoni with chicken sausage, and it was okay. It wasn’t as hearty as I hoped it to be. Nonetheless, we will come back to try something else next time.

Haven’t been back to this mall/restaurant since pandemic. Husband and I enjoyed lunch date. We sat outside w backdrop of fresh Spring air and relaxing ambience. Lobster bisque was flavorful and super rich & filling (cup size is good for 1-2 persons already to save room for rest of meal). We tried shrimp salad and shrimp taglietalle, ample amount of shrimps. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Price was average compared to other cafes/restaurants. Cheesecake at the end was the best, it came w caramel sauce which was not too sweet. Overall, customer service was 4.5 stars, waiter was attentive. We’ll be back…

AUG 30-31. The chef has a special 4 course meal and it’s fantastic. And the bourbon cocktail is a must try. Bar Verde has always been a go to place for us. The kids eat well (butter noodles with a side of Parmesan cheese), it’s relaxing and the food is consistently good.

Bar Verde is a hidden gem at the americana at brand. It’s all the way at the top of the Nordstrom’s. You might wonder if a restaurant is any good if it’s located at the top of a Nordstrom‘s. I was skeptical at first as well, but after giving it a shot, I have to say it’s one of the top three restaurants at the americana. Their menu is very dynamic and always changes according to the season and adding any chef specialties. The staff is extremely friendly, place is clean, and food is delivered in a timely fashion (I came during lunch and the place was half full.)

Bien dissapointment. Dirty and disorganized. I gave it 2 stars because 2 of the 3 dishes were very good and the third one was okay. The place was dirty, three previously used tables were never cleaned (see pictures). A customer mentioned that and the staff gave them attitude saying, “well I’m the only one cleaning today!” She was very rude. Bad management! Also the floor was dirty. Now the food, it was pretty good: the burrada and tomates, and the chicken paliar really good. The salmon salad nicoise was dry.

Took 1 star out because they always remove the best items from their menu. Calamari used to be amazing and now it’s not worth the price. Love their cilantro lime salad. It’s convenient restaurant to do curbside pick up if you are in the rush. Curb side pick up like you would do with Nordstrom orders.

Secret hideaway! From the balcony I enoyed the sights and sounds of Americana without the crowds. OK for eating alone. The balcony is a nice protected space for toddlers (but I didn’t see any when I was there). But I wish it had more shaded spots and better landscaping. As a bar/restaurant, the selection of food was small. But I will certainly go here again.

After a day of shopping this has to be one of the best places to come eat. Towards the end we had an extremely professional waiter who was very attentive and got us our food quickly. The meals were well plated, full of flavor, and had healthy options. I would also recommend the desert as a full experience and kick to the taste buds!

Over priced and terrible parking at the Americana. I wouldn’t go back just to visit this place. Food and service was good but so are so many other places. The parking should have been validated but the system they have there of feeding in a ‘follow card’ – whatever that is, didn’t work and 2 of us in 2 lanes jammed the exits for 10 minutes while we were trying to get out. Nobody was on duty and while it eventually took mine, I still ended up paying $8 for parking after validation and my friend paid $13 because she couldn’t get her card to work. We both agreed, this is not a place to return to.
