I got the gyro plate and it’s delicious. I’m in Atlanta for work; if I lived here I would visit weekly. Reasonably priced, very tasty, and you can tell the folks who work here love the food and community they serve. The strawberry smoothie was a tasty splurge. My only regret is not ordering extra sauce!

I used to loooove this place and go here all the time. I will admit I haven’t been in a long while since they hiked the prices up though. The staff is nice… I had no issues with that. However, the food is just not the same. It used to be much more flavorful, especially their sauces. I ordered a lamb gyro and sambusas (I was really craving these and that was what convinced me to order here), but was disappointed as they had been over fried, which changed the taste completely. I hate to say I will not be back to this place. The food is just not worth the price in my opinion.

May not look like much, but it’s the absolute perfect place to stop by for lunch. Little amount of seating, but it fits the place. Restrooms are available. Little parking, so walk if you can. Food comes fast, is a large portion, and yummy. A amazing place for a bite to eat.

My girlfriend and I spent the weekend in Atlanta and this was the best meal we had the entire time! The Lamb Gyro was the best I’ve ever tasted! It’s such an unassuming little place but don’t let that fool you! The owner is friendly and the service was stellar! The food is fresh and so flavorful! I love when we find a surprising gem on our travels! We both said we’d go all the way back to Atlanta just for another Lamb Gyro from Baraka Shawarma!

The friendliest service anywhere, great food and affordable prices. The falafel is well seasoned, it’s just not out of this world amazing and portion size I thought was small for a “jumbo” size. Though the taste was good and I would return if again in the downtown area.
