Went here for our anniversary dinner and enjoyed every minute of it. The food was incredible. The hot rock that they use to serve the meat is a nice fancy touch. The guacamole was some of the best I’ve ever had. The wine selection was great, we had a real smooth Spanish wine. The cotton candy served at the end is nice unexpected addition to the meal. Everything was plated beautifully. Our waitress was lovely. Take time to look around while you eat as the decor is also something not to be missed.

Everything about this place is amazing. The people, the food, the table side guac… all of it. Food is exceptional and the Rock steak is a show stopper for sure. Salmon was very well prepared and the drinks are very beautiful! Great place for anniversaries, birthdays or even date nights! Very cute birthday cotton candy lantern too! + the view…. breathtaking!

We had an after wedding dinner here, and had such a great time! Our Server “Crystal ” was the best! She took good care of our group! The food was amazing! I loved the decorations! My only complaint is the music was a little on the loud side. If you come here, plan on spending more than your usual steak dinner. I had a steak, a green side salad and artichoke fritattas.

I think that probably what makes this restaurant stand out is not necessarily the food but the bougie interior design and the outdoor views. The food is quite good but I wouldn’t say that it is always worth the price. I have eaten from humble food trucks or mom and pop restaurants that have food that is better.

Amazing atmosphere, incredible food, wonderful service, and fantastic drinks. Reservations are a MUST as it gets packed. It’s definitely pricey, but the portions are huge and they’re beautifully plated. I had the pork chop and my friend had the tamale with chicken mole. Both were delicious. They have a great happy hour as well. It’s probably one of, if not THE best restaurant in Boise.

This was an awesome place to eat dinner. I was not disappointed in my friend’s recommendation. The food was great, the service was prompt and pleasant and the atmosphere was awesome. Wait time was non-existent for dinner hour in the open bar. Tables near the water look great.

Beautiful restaurant, nice decoration, good for small or bigger groups. Reservations recommended for big groups and you have to wait for all people to arrive to be seat, automatic 20% gratuity included for groups of 6 people and more. Nice service, friendly and helpful staffs. Food is ok for me, I don’t like what i order much. Food look good but greasy, my seafood seem not fresh and fishy smell.

We’ve gone to Barbacoa for years and this has been our first time back in a couple. Our service was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere still fun but loud. The food seems to be declining though which was really sad. We used to pine over the table side guac and it just wasn’t it this time. Maybe more training for your new guys? My hot rock steak and chile relleno was fabulous as ever. I decided to splurge an extra $20 to get the prawns. I remember a few years ago these huge Mexican prawns on this spicy mash that were to die for… These “prawns” were disgraceful. They were three shrimp, maybe standard large, overcooked in a dish swimming in a sauce… For $20?! Y’all. This doesn’t make sense. The duck two ways was great but the crispy duck was incredible. The risotto was meh. Ribs and fries were great. Lots of desserts which were delicious other than the fried ice cream tree… Nothing fried about it.
