Gave very little, asked for something else paid for it, but only got shrimp, then got told I should have read the fine print on the bottom. So I said once I get my receipt, I’ll be back to get the extra I paid they said come back when the other person was there because it wasn’t her. The person was very rude, the food was very little and not worth the price same on you all for thinking it’s ok to talk to people harshly on the phone. It was better when you didn’t answer phones. But yet when that happened and I asked why it was said you don’t do phone orders but yet today I saw 3 people come to pick up phone orders. You all need to get the Info together or at least pretent to give a damn on what’s going on with your customers

My husband and I stopped here after being told to stay clear of the food in this city, but let me tell ya, this place is very good. I ordered the BBQ chicken fried rice, which was delicious (just get a teriyaki sauce to drizzle on top) and my husband got the Chicken katsu and had no complaints! Thanks for the good meal.

This a late post, but I had to share some of my fav spots on the Island. Its been a min since I’ve been back visiting the west sai. Barbecue Kai was always our go to for good food at an affordable price. Breakfast plate back in the days were like $5 eggs, rice and portugese sausage, cant beat that?! This time around ordered, BBQ mix plate that came with BBQ chicken, teriyaki, Bbq short ribs, rice and mac salad $15, mochiko chicken, rice and mac salad $11. The service was fast and friendly! As for the the ambiance, its outdoor seating with a window were you order food.

Wow, their Garlic Shrimp, with 18 large firm, perfect Shrimp, was better than we’ve had at 5 star restaurants! The Shrimp Fried Rice was also delicious In our 2 week visit, we ate there 4 times! They are That Good!

This little walk up restaurant doesn’t look like much, but the food is amazing. The service was quick and the lady that took the order was sweet and friendly. I would eat there every night for the whole week while I am in Hawaii if I didn’t want to try other places.

This is one of my family’s favorite places to eat whenever we’re feeling to lazy to cook. Our personal favorite is the loco moco, which comes with 2 eggs cooked the exact way we prefer (over easy), 2 hamburger patties that (we believe) are handmade, a lot of gravy, and mac salad. Even better, it’s (and mostly everything else) sold for a reasonably cheap price. Highly recommend trying here at least once! But stop by earlier or later than rush hour, or there’ll be a long line.

What a hidden gem! I only found out about this place surprisingly reading a review for somewhere else where they said they only go there if this place is closed. Happy I took the recommendation! Has a take out window where you can order food, we took it straight to the beach right next door to eat. I ordered the loco moco which was so good, lots of gravy and the meat was nice and smokey. My friend ordered the shrimp burger and loved it. All for an affordable price, cash only! Definitely making this a regular pit stop.

Wow! Let me tell you! These are the best BBQ cheeseburgers ever! This restaurant been run by the same family for 32 years and they do amazing amazing work! I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed these burgers they were so tasty they had a little bit of onions and then I could taste they made their own homemade barbecue sauce to put on these wonderful tasty burgers and they had just the right amount of cheese and the bread was oh so soft and melted right in your mouth

Great place for Fried Rice! They will even do combo fried rice if you ask. Hint, hint: If you are feeding more than 4, order off the catering menu, especially if you are ordering fried rice. I drive from Mililani just to have their fried rice!
