Walked away from this place just saying to myself wow, just wow, what amazing BBQ food. I was only in Alabama for two days for work (and first time in Alabama), and before heading off to the airport to head back home, I decided to stop by here. I was not disappointed! The ribs, sauce, and fried okra were heavenly. The mac-n-cheese is out of this world!!! Thank you to the gentleman (assume owner) for providing such hospitality! And the hard-working young man behind the cashier! Such a great experience ending my first ever trip in Alabama. (Also, the place is only a few minutes from the airport).

Very authentic ribs, pork and sides! Pork and ribs reminded me of neighborhood BBQs from my childhood. Sauces are original, unlike any others I can recall. Almost a fruity flavor. Deliciously different. While not necessarily the best BBQ in the county, it is damn good and certainly worthy of a visit.

I’m traveling for work and I’m visiting AL. I found this “Mom & Pop style” restaurant. It was conveniently close so we gave them a visit. Oh man, the food was very good and they make their own sauces too. The one thing that surprised me was the bake beans. The had a nice kick on the “spicy” side. I ordered the pulled pork and ate the whole plate while switching back and forward with their BBQ sauce and their “Alabama white sauce”. The next time I’m in the area I will give them another visit for sure.

This is a Huntsville ! Family run business, with multiple generations on site…. But what you really want are the ribs. I put these ribs on the top shelf right next to Rodney Scott’s. The sauces are all made in house and I can’t pick a favorite. The pulled pork is delicious as well just the right amount of smoke flavor, and not too much fat. The fried okra is some of the best I have had. If you are anywhere near Huntsville this place is worth the trip.

My husband and I had just landed in Huntsville and we were hungry. After searching for a high rated place, I found the gem. Food was fantastic, service was incredibly friendly and the best Mac and Cheese around!! Definitely worth a stop!!
