We love Barberitos and have enjoyed their food for years, but unfortunately, ever since the pandemic, this particular location has continued to go downhill. I know they can not find or keep workers, so that plays a big part, but yesterday, the food was awful. My husband got a burrito bowl, and I got a burrito, and we both threw them in the garbage with over half leftover. The steak was fatty and chewy, and the veggies looked as though they had been sitting out for days. Sadly, we will not be back to this location.

First time here, and I liked it a lot. Menu was similar to Chipotle, but they offered a few different toppings or ingredients you can put in a burrito, don’t remember them all but olives and diced onions were there. Nice people and price was moderate.

First visit was great but every other time has been disappointing. Is rice so expensive now that customers don’t even receive a full scoop? There wasn’t even enough to cover 3/4 of the to go box when it was flattened out. Not even a full scoop of steak even though I’m being charged for a full scoop. Some was shaken out of the scoop but at least a quarter of the meat remained in the scoop. And then to be charged almost $12….

The food was incredibly average compared to other locations in Johnson city. The beans were cold and the chicken was not seasoned at all. The chips were also not seasoned. Everything was plain and very bland. I love Barberitos but this located is severely lacking in flavor. Would not go back

Was very disappointing I got a burrito and the chicken was so dry you could not really eat it, got a steak taco the meat was burnt. Also got nachos they were ice cold and I asked for shredded iceburg lettuce ended up getting chunks of romaine I guess we don’t know the difference. Pretty good chance I wont be back it was a 1st and last at this location

Placed a pick-up order on June 3, order was accepted with a time for pick up. Got to the restaurant and the doors were locked with a sign saying they closed early. I tried for 13 days to get a refund with no luck. No apology, no let’s make this right, just texts from someone named Bethany and the owner promising the refund was processed by a 3rd party but my card was never credited the money. Finally after 2 weeks the owner agreed to issue a cash refund. Then the manager of this location, Bethany Looney, began sending me messages from her personal fb account because I posted a negative review. When I called her out on being so unprofessional she blocked me! This location is most unprofessionally ran business ever!

I went for lunch today and there was only 1 person making orders for people in line. He was busting his butt to get it done. The other one was making togo orders. Once she finished making togo orders she wormed the register. I waited in line for 20 mins before my order was taken and there were 8 people behind me. I love the food but they really need to work on staffing. The kid making everyone’s order needs a pay increase because he did an excellent job and never let the lack of help affect him!

Nasty! I got the nachos with chicken and queso along with other toppings. Did not receive the queso (after I got home I realized) and the chicken taste like boiled dark meat. I hope it hadn’t gone bad but it stank really bad and had the worst flavor (what little flavor there was). I threw the whole thing away it was so bad.

I don’t typically leave reviews but everything about my burrito bowl was awful. The steak was cooked terribly with chucks of bone and cartilage, the lettuce was slimy.. even the rice was bad. Overall super disappointing and definitely not worth $13
