They have an extensive drink menu and I recommend getting a flight of beer with your meal. You get to try four beers and the size is surprisingly good for the price. I was surprised to see full strips of bacon on the cheese fries but it was really good. I wish I got the elk burger medium rare instead of medium, but it had great flavor. My friend said the sweet potato patty was a tasty option if you don’t want beef. Service was a bit slow and we didn’t have enough napkins, but overall a good atmosphere and delicious food at a good price.

Went out to eat tonight with my mother, my mothers friend and my son. Our waiter Angelo was so wonderful! Really patient with us and so wonderful with my son. It’s so nice when you can go out to eat with a young child and they are embraced and not looked at like “why is this mother taking this child out in public”. (Not that my son is bad, but it was late and he started to get a little loud at the end) So, it’s just really refreshing when you’ve got a waiter who embraces a family and helps by putting in a child’s order first etc etc. anyways, lovely establishment. Love this one and the one in Montclair. Excellent service by Angelo. Wonderful time. Will be back!

My boyfriend and I normally go to the Montvale location, but we were in Ridgewood and decided to go in. We ordered our cocktails and food at the same time and it took 20 minutes for our drinks to come out “because the bar was backed up” although there was roughly 6 people sitting at the bar. When we got our food my boyfriend ordered the Sweet Wagyu Blues cooked Medium Well and I’m not sure if our original server was more focused on leaving for the day they didn’t pay attention to what he said and his burger was cooked Medium. When I asked another server since our original server was MIA, he put the order in and then never came back to see how we were doing and if we wanted more drinks or anything really. When my boyfriend had enough he decided not to wait for his burger so I had to go to the server and ask for the check. When he came back with the check, he asked me if I wanted for him to remove the item that my boyfriend didn’t eat. He eventually came back with the updated check and I ended up having to go to the bar to close the check. Not sure why the employees at this location just like to disappear but it was very frustrating.

The food is good… if it ever arrives. And when it does it will likely be cold. Many times items have been forgotten and a re-delivery takes forever. They forgot to put two burgers in the order and we’re still waiting for delivery of those two burgers almost an hour later.

First Bareburger experience with Angelo for lunch did not disappoint. Great burger, great big pile of fries, ample beer selection — just what you want out of a burger joint. Homemade ketchup? Yep, they have that, too. And surprisingly easy to find options for my dairy-free needs.
