This place rocks. So much fun. Awesome music, chill vibe, good drinks, food is surprising (in a very good way). Good live artists. We stayed at the Marquis so this was convenient. Lots of people were coming in off the street for happy hour and throughout the evening. Definitely recommend.

Atmosphere is great….bartenders are stone age slow. Been a long time since I’ve seen a bar set up properly to make drinks quickly without both bartenders bouncing into each other and also get to the register. It can be done but this place doesn’t have it

Definitely an awesome spot to get some drinks and hear live music. You can tell they aren’t known for their food. Very small menu. What I saw people order wasn’t anything fancy. Friendly service. Robbie the bartender was very welcoming .

If you want a great view, live music and really good food we recommend it! The only problem was the wait the first time we went last week was super long. We sat there for almost 2 hours waiting for our food after our appetizers. We did stay there almost 3 hours… However, the manager did make it up to us and give us the apps for free! Because of the kindness of the manager by doing the right thing, we went back again a few days later and the wait was what was to be expected for our food. Again the food was really good. Waitresses were super nice too! When we come back to Cape May, we’ll be back again!

Awesome staff…made staying at Marquis de Lafayette enjoyable. They were super friendly, gave great suggestions on both drinks and food choices (good food too!). They really hustled – you never waited around for anything. Also had good live entertainment. It’s open to the public. Would recommend.
