This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Mobile. The food is delicious and the servings are huge! Our waiter was amazing! He interacted with us throughout our visit and even made a special dessert for us! I also would like to add that during shut down during COVID, they offered curbside pick up and gave a fresh made loaf of bread with every meal that was picked up. How awesome is that?

I don’t know where to start- with the food or with the service! I was greeted and seated immediately and Nestor, my waiter, was awesome!! Friendly, very enthusiastic, made great recommendations, and I could just tell he absolutely loves his job. His happy attitude was contagious and much needed during my lunch break from work. He also provided very quick and attentive service. Kudos! Now to the food, these were the best birria tacos I’ve ever had! The shells were crisp, the meat was sooooo tender and seasoned to perfection, and they did NOT skimp on portions! I can usually eat 4 or 5 tacos, but I was full before I could finish my third taco here. I wish I had thought to take a picture of the inside of the tortillas but they were stuffed, I promise. The consume was flavorful! I took off one star because the margarita I chose wasn’t the best (strawberry mixed with peach) but it was still refreshing and because the chorizo dip had way too much chorizo for my liking. I’m here in Mobile for the week due to work and I’m contemplating going back to Bariachi before I leave. Thank you Nestor!!

Great food, tastes fresh. My first time there our waiter was busy but nice. Our second time, Lester was our waiter and he was super friendly and interactive with us and every table he served. That kind of service with great food will make our decision easy to return again and again. We highly recommend. UPDATE: We continue going occasionally and they never disappoint us. I tried something new and ordered the Pollo Deluxe. It was great, I couldn’t eat it all so took it home for lunch the next day.

Ordered a shrimp and a chicken taco. There was no seasoning AT ALL. He chips were oily with no seasoning too. I had to add seasoning. Food NOT GOOD at all. This is my 1st and last time getting food from this place. The only recommendation I make is choose another place to dine.

Bariachi was really great! I’ve been to several of the Mexican restaurants around Mobile and this one has made it into my top 3 just because of the birria tacos! Even my favorite place’s birria tacos were a little too oily for my liking, and the other place doesn’t have enough cheese. BUT BARIACHI . perfectly crispy seasoned tortilla without the added grease, flavorful consommé, and there’s enough cheese for a yummy cheese pull!! My friend had 3 street tacos and they were good as well, but I could really sing praises about the birria! The chips were a little thick for me personally, but not as thick as some other places. I really like the thin and crispy chips. Despite that, the salsa and queso were good!
