Brisket was delicious, and fatty portions were especially good. More fat on it than other places I’ve been, which I normally wouldn’t care for but it really worked in this case. Bread was what it was. Potato salad was excellent, Cole slaw was about average. Also got a few smoked cookies but I don’t know that the smoke flavor did anything for them. Decent prices, staff was decent as well.

It’s always nice to walk in a restaurant and be welcomed! Food was served fast and more importantly it was served hot! Pulled pork was moist and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. Baked potato was delicious but the star of the show was the Kettle Chip Nachos!! Can’t wait to go back and try the other items in the menu.

Best brisket I have had outside of Texas. By a LONG shot. Normally wouldn’t be such a statement but every other play I have tried brisket in Alabama it tastes/feels like a slice of two day old roast beef. No place in/around Huntsville that I have tried can even compare when it comes to the brisket.

Very disappointed. Baked potato was cold. Butter and cheese didn’t even try to melt. Took it back to have them warm it up, older woman in the back rolled her eyes. Young man put it in the oven for at least 5 minutes. Saw him stir the potato after taking out of the oven for a bit and then he handed it back to us. Cheese was still cold and butter had just started to melt. As we were standing there another patron asked if they had other bbq sauce because the one out was spicy. Older lady in the back snapped back “it’s not spicy at all”.

Overall, the place is a mess. The barbecue was 100% tasteless. There was too much fat on the brisket. It tasted like leftovers from the day before. The bread was hard and crusty and definitely not worth the money. I ate less than half and threw the rest out and went and found better food elsewhere. Definitely would not recommend this place. Save your money.

Upon my third visit, I was finally able to get some brisket. I made two attempts prior to this visit and they were always out of the brisket and they do not sell chicken. I am not a huge fan of pork, so I would always walk away with an empty stomach. This day I was happy. The brisket was very good. Somewhat tender with a small amount of melt in your mouth. They were out of collards so I ended up trying the red beans and rice and it was excellent. So good that I went back through the drive through for a larger portion. This is a must try spot, but you must go early to get the brisket.

The service was terrible. When ordering the older gentlemen acted like we were an inconvenience because he was too busy on a personal call through earbuds. After him telling his friend on the phone to hold on because he had to take an order we tried to order are food. He then instructed me to I needed to change my order because they wanted to get rid of more chicken than Cajun Sausage on the combo meal. We were the only ones there ordering. My husband waited for our food for at least 15 minutes. When he did receive our food the guy tried not to give one of the items we paid for. It wasn’t until a female employee stepped up and said give them their food. Not sure if he was trying to joke but we were not amused. If it wasn’t for the food being delicious we would never go back there again.

So beyond disappointed! Meat was dried out. Loaded baked potato cold…shredded cheese not even close to melted. Chicken sandwich cold too. This happened the last time we were there also. We thought we would give them another chance, but unfortunately nothing has improved. It’s too bad…the food would be reasonable if there was some care and attention paid.

The food was amazing. The food did take a while to make and we were asked to wait outside. Had to walk back and forth numerous times to check on order status. And we were given the wrong food. Once that was corrected we enjoyed our meal greatly though. Even went back in to order some of their white sauce and queso to take home.
