From beer to food to products to merchandise, we make sure we support as many Michigan-based companies as possible. This includes our Smith & Sons burger, our Cops & Doughnuts hamburger buns that we pick up fresh throughout the week and our Michigan cheeses and produce.
Although our hours have been adjusted due to COVID, we remain open seven days a week. My staff is the best around and cannot thank them enough!

We had a really good time. Our service was friendly. We got our food fairly quick considering they were busy. It was a little hard to hear each other but again they were busy. I got a bloody mary and it was amazing! Our food was awesome! We will be back.

Service was fine! Appetizer was mediocre. I had fried pickles and there was hardly any coating on them. Our server was too busy with a large to see how everything was. Besides it took forever to get them in the first place. My wife had fried mozzarella and she said was good. Other than the beer (it was cold and delicious ) this was a nice local restaurant we have passed by many times in our travels and if for not being real hungry and wanted just wanted a little snack, we should have said, “keep on going”.

Decent selection of beer on tap, I had the Green Zebra gose, which is a great choice if you like a sour beer. They also have a pretty wide selection of canned and bottled products as well. The pretzel sticks and beer cheese were fantastic. The server Morgan was friendly. Prices were fairly reasonable. I would recommend this place to others.

Had chicken breast with mushrooms, onions, swiss cheese. Chicken a little dry, and plain – no taste or seasoning. Had mashed potatoes with gravy and a salad. Wife had fish and chips. Typical deep fried cod. Bar with a assorted drinks.

This is an amazing little place. The people who work here are wonderful, and the food is always great. The burger is locally sourced, the buns come from a local bakery, and the fries are always delicious. It’s usually pretty busy, but they get you in quickly compared to most places. It has a cute small town feel, and the prices are very reasonable. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend giving this place a shot.

One of the very best burgers I’ve ever eaten – perfectly cooked, fresh and tasty veggies on top. Even better were the onion rings – crispy and delicious from the one I ate the moment my plate was set down, until the last one I enjoyed after I polished off my burger!

We have visited here twice now… amazing bar food and great service in a clean, friendly atmosphere. We enjoy the different burger options — love the burger with Old Bay and provolone, and the bacon- barbecue cheeseburger — and the Cherry Bomb wings are really special. Tots as a side option — yay! A good selection of craft beers and liquor for a small rural bar. Definitely worth the drive west of Mt. Pleasant.

Could have done without the screaming toddler in the small restaurant. It tends to echo off the walls. Seems to be a popular spot for families despite being half bar in such a small place.
