We should have left before we ordered. The waitress had to ask in the back if they had perch and shrimp for the po boy sandwich, something she should have done before seating anyone. We were there at 6pm on a chilly Thursday and the place was not busy. Service was friendly (hence 2 stars) but overzealous, nearly taking my husband’s beer before he was finished. The perch was extremely mediocre for the $20 price point. Four small pieces of perch and a handful of fries with a shot glass of cole slaw. The blackened mahi tacos were likely not mahi and definitely not blackened but stuffed with lettuce and fillers. We had to ask for tartar sauce twice because the tiny tubs were half full. The rice was not cooked well and not done at all in some cases. They brought us paper plates for some reason. I brought them home since they were just going to be thrown away needlessly. They don’t provide real silverware or dinnerware or glasses. Plastic utensils and plastic cups are used – such a disgusting waste of single use plastics. For a $100 meal, I’d at least like a real fork. The owner appeared to be present but was too busy glad-handing local friends to check the quality of what his restaurant is selling. This is a waste of a good location right on the lake. Owner needs to step up and should be embarrassed.

great place to go on your boat. they have slips for your boat if you want to pull right up at no charge. They do have some foreigners that work there so every now and then it’s a little tough to understand them, but man they are all super nice.

Wonderful staff and delicious meals! We ate here three nights in a row and had several things off the menu, all of which were wonderful! The tropical vibe was fun. I had the mahi sandwich, black and blue burger and Key West salad. My husband had the perch, ribs and heat island wings “island style” (hot!). I would recommend any of these! Some of the regulars that we spoke to also said the Jamaican Jerk sandwich and the pizza was really good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. They serve locals as well as people living on the lake, which, to me, is a very broad range of patrons. You can’t please everyone, but we were certainly pleased!

I was expecting a fun atmosphere on a lake, an appetizer and cocktail. Food is mainly fried baskets. Lake is dirty looking so not a pretty view.

Visit this dockside restaurant and bar on your boat off Hamlin Lake, or ride up Jebavy to Barnhart rd. and hang on the deck watching guys like Jimmy Dodson play songs and taking requests. What a fun time!

Not bad place to eat, local and all. Staff wasn’t the best. Could’ve been a lot more attentive and professional. Food was fine. Not sure if I’d go again.

Nothing fancy, just a beach vibe place on the water. I had perch and it was really good, and a glass of wine. Service was very good, I was well taken care of.
