It’s a small place, not very welcoming. Took 10 mins and us asking if we can get a drink for our server to come take the order, said they were busy and lots of ppl just came in but not all the tables were full.

On a rainy day this was a great find for indoor dining. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress Margaret was also the bartender and provided us with great service. She got our drinks and let us know she was going to make several bar drinks and would be back as soon as she could. We were ready to order when she returned and it was smooth sailing. Orders came out correct and pretty quick. Portion sizes were good to generous for the prices. Highly recommend the cheesy bacon fries appetizer. We also ordered food to go which they gladly accommodated. Overall a positive experience. We were in and out in just over 45 minutes for lunch.

Can’t wait to go back, all around great experience! The burgers fried mushrooms and fried pickles were fantastic, our server was attentive but not over bearing, nice relaxed atmosphere and decent prices for the portion sizes. Highly recommend

First time visitors & we sat outside on the patio because it was such a nice evening. Our party ordered the chicken & waffles, the Pork Hawaiian quesadilla, the Carolina Porker burrito & the Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich with a side of Mac & cheese. Portions are generous & filling. Everyone loved their meal & had leftovers except for the burrito. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side, but then what isn’t these days? All in all, a good place to eat & will go back next time I’m in Wiscasset, ME.

Really neat little roadside pub . Food is absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Did I say that the food was delicious? I also meant to say that the portions are very generous. Sat and ate on the side patio on a beautiful evening. Sorry to say that we’re just passing through, but the local folks know a good thing when they have it. Treat yourself to something wonderful from some local fare!!

Newer restaurant/bar. Cozy fun atmosphere with music but not deafening loud, can still have a conversation without shouting. Great all around bar type food, fair pricing and tasty. Didn’t have any of the drinks but the bartender made a grumpy goose in front of me and it looked amazing.

Excellent pretzel appetizer fresh and hot like in Germany. Big belly clams were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the lobster roll my daughter and wife had looked amazing! I would recommend the Barnhouse to everyone driving thru. The locals were kind and friendly and the owners are out of this world polite.

A downhome Maine pub with amazing food, great staff, and a cozy atmosphere. Prices are fairer than most of the Boothbay area. The burritos are *Massive* – described by my girlfriend as “an adventure” – and it is so worth the undertaking. Will definitely remember this place whenever we’re back up in the Midcoast!

This place has a great vibe, waitresses are super friendly, but slow to help you and seem overworked & understaffed at busy times maybe because the host Brandon won’t jump in to save his life if it gets busy- do be careful if you have allergies because the menu isn’t super well-labeled. I was happy to see they have a gluten free bun, also, they now serve oysters!
