We celebrated our 9 year anniversary here last night and I can’t say enough good things about this place. Our server was absolutely amazing, all the staff were great actually. The tasting menu was awe inspiring. This was easily the best meal I’ve ever had!

We came for Valentine’s Day. They required a $50 per person deposit that did not go towards the bill but instead was refunded later. The food choices were excellent, and the portions left us both full. We sat near the fireplace, and the ambiance was perfect. We do not drink, but their non alcoholic choices were delicious. Our server was one of the best I’ve ever had until the last course, where we waited about 20 min after finishing desert to receive our bill. It was almost 11 pm at this point, so I was exhausted. It was about 2 hours for the four courses and it was such a beautiful night. I can’t wait to return and try other options.

The focaccia roll was buttery and flavorful with an amazing taste and with an amazing flare of rosemary and rich olive oil. The mushroom soufflé is exploding with balsamic and sweet notes. Woah. Not expecting how good it would be. The risotto was cooked perfectly. Loved the spices they used, one of the best I’ve had. The cheese that is paired within the risotto dish is incredible. Uhm sorry Capital Grille, you’ve got some serious competition with how on point and perfectly cooked and flavored this beef tenderloin was. The braised duck, their signature dish for 31 years, was out of this world. This restaurant has high reviews for a reason. They are on point with everything they serve.

Hard to know where to begin. We went here for a special night and we were not disappointed. Our night started with warm greetings from the hostess, who seated us in our bungalow. Our server Nick proved to be a wealth of information, not only of the food but also the wine. He offered suggestions and his personal favorites on the menu. We felt the added touch he imparted was unbelievably nice. The food was excellent, the service is beyond the food and we left feeling excited about our next visit here. This truly is a restaurant that understands a special occasion and goes above and beyond to make it special.

Regarding my reviews on Google Maps. Since Google doesn’t provide any kind of guidelines on the expectations of what a 5 star rating requires or means that makes it difficult person to person to decipher what “good” or “great” is. Let alone that one persons 3 star rating is another’s 5 star experience. That being said. I eat out a lot and at some pretty nice places. I’ve recently decided to review each place I eat and add pictures. I will comment on the things that are important to me for a restaurant or other establishment to have a high rating.

We had a good experience here overall! The service was excellent, the food just wasn’t anything to rave about to make us want to come back. Some of the combinations didn’t make sense to us, in a variety of dishes. Decent Italian food but not good given the price tag. Appreciated that they had gluten free pasta and bread! (Though not worth $4/slice particularly when the regular bread was complementary)
