I have been a huge fan of Barone’s. It all started out when I lived in the San Fernando Valley and I went to the original Barone’s. Since then a branch off has taken home in Thousand Oaks and I couldn’t be happier. The pizza is one of the best pizza’s around. If you haven’t had a Barone’s pizza, than you are missing out!

Thought about trying this place because of the reviews it was given, not sure if it was a different crew working tonight but my pizza was not what i order and full of grease. Online it shows they have a traditional Margherita pizza available but when you order it they came out with something else. I wont be coming back here. I don’t like complaining about food but this is not what pizza should look like or be sold for $26.00

I will be on a temporary assignment in LA for a few months and live nearby. This place is small and gets very crowded on weekends. If you live in the area, I recommend coming on weekdays. However, I really enjoyed the pizza. I get custom made and it’s great. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the location is central. I hang out at the bar and it’s a great vibe.

This was the first and last time we will get a pizza at Barone’s. The gluten-free pizza crust was not very good and impossible to cut with a knife. The combo of cheese and toppings was not very good. The worst – and I should have walked out when I saw it – was the young man giving me my pizza and ringing up the cash register, was NOT wearing a face covering and therefore not taking seriously my health concerns regarding sanitary issues(COVID). Not OK!
