Barraco’s Pizza has an old world feel in pub style eatery. Did not eat here and this review is based on drinks on the outdoor patio. What started out with three bartenders with a steady increasing crowd dwindled to only one after thirty minutes and guests increasing on a Friday night. The peak wait time throughout the evening was about twenty minutes for a round of drinks. Staffing issues aside, the prices for beers, wine and cocktails save this from being a two star. Food that did come out to other patrons did look good. I would give Barraco’s Pizza another try if ever in the area.

I am so glad they opened this barraco’s right down the street from me. I’ve dined in and had take out. They have a great selection on their buffet table, including their famous pizza. I have also had their pizza for takeout. Their then crust is probably their most popular, but they also have a thicker crust. If you preferred called the Cecilian, and it is very filling. The atmosphere is very comfortable.

Ordered 2 pizzas for pick-up along with appetizers. The ordered didn’t come with parmesan, red pepper flakes, or napkins and I feel like that’d be a necessity for a pizza palor. The pizza was also cut into bite size pieces. The Mac and cheese is really good, and the service was good as well.

I’ve heard of Barraco’s for years but never tried it until last week. They opened a new location on Harlem in Orland Park and we were in the area at lunchtime. The lunch buffet looked amazing but we didn’t want that big of a lunch so we each got a small salad and shared a small thin crust sausage pizza. The pizza was delicious with a thin cracker crust, tangy sauce and sausage in every bite. Well be back soon and want to try one of their other types of pizza. Everyone was super friendly and our server Adriana was delightful. The atmosphere is very old school but I like it. They also have a small retail shop in the back with an assortment of Italian specialties.

The thin crust pizza was delicious. Loaded with toppings, the crust was very crisp, and the cheese was fresh. The service was friendly and quick. The overall atmosphere was kinda dark and dated. I think an update wouldn’t hurt by that is just my opinion. Overall, I’m willing to go back and try some more things on the menu other than the pizza. If we had more time, I’d like to try the stuffed crust pizza. I plan on going back when we have a chance.

I love what they have done with the place! The Old Traverso’s has been smartly revamped and is warm and welcoming. I dined in with two friends; the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was lovely. We started out with an appetizer of calamari, I was a bit disappointed as I like my calamari more on the crisp side. Otherwise, the food was delicious.

People are super friendly and pizza is amazing!! Highly recommend this pizza. I also did a carry out and called three different times to update an order and they were very patient with me.

The old “Traverso’s” locale. SOOOO much better, omg. The food was incredible – that’s the freshest pizza I have EVER tasted, and the gnocchi in vodka sauce was to die for! Service was fantastic -everyone was super nice. The decor was pared down but still rustic and cozy. I will be back, and I will definitely order take out from here often! Don’t miss it!

Nothing special, food was lackluster, my eggplant was dry, and cheese barely melted. Sauce on pasta tasted like canned tomato sauce as there was no discernible seasoning. My wife’s chicken piccata was not browned and looked pale and undercooked. Presentation left a lot to be desired.
