Barrel Bar and Grill joined Whiskey Row in Downtown Louisville in March of 2022.
With over 50 bourbons/whiskeys to choose from, a dozen beers on tap, and our soon to be famous four patty BBQ bacon burger, Barrel Bar and Grill is the place to be.
We are connected to Louisville Comedy Club, the only A-List comedy club in the blue grass state. Louisville Comedy Club has national headliners every weekend, and local showcases and open-mics during the week. Pop in for great food, better drinks, and a laugh out loud good time.

Fun little spot me & my 2 friends stumbled into late one night while on a girl’s trip. The bar tender was not phased at all by our cackling and drunk girl antics, lol! The b.o.h. employee was also a sweetheart and kept us plenty entertained! Thanks, guys, for letting us enjoy our time together and for entertaining us. We were staying at the Gault, but all their bars were way too fancy and buttoned up, so we set out on a quest for a more “trashy bar!”. This place was far from trashy, but it was perfect for us. Safe, super friendly, and welcoming & for putting up with the 3 of us, they’ve absolutely got my 5 stars

The first time I went to Barrel Bar and Grill it wasn’t a great experience. The manager invited me back to try it again. The food was yummy (BBQ pork pulled sandwich and onion rings) and can’t wait to go again. The bartender was great, atmosphere was amazing. Enjoyed my night.

Only saw one or two reviews for this, and both were bad. No clue why — this was a nice time! Floated in on a Saturday afternoon, ordered a Bacon Caesar (great) and a Bourbon Barrel Ale (greater). Prompt service. Nice ambience. And ample seating at the open windows facing Main Street.

Tried calling the restaurant and can never get anyone on the phone. At least pick up the phone and acknowledge a potential customer. Answering phone calls are apart of a business. I’m sure I’m not the first to notice this, obviously you can afford to loose business in such a great economy.
