The presentation of the food was on spot. We all very much enjoyed our food. There were a few issues though. Our food was not hot, but warm. The plate was super hot just not our food. The rice was different, Never had Spanish rice that color or that less bland.

This was our first time at Barrigas. We brought our out-of-town guests, which is always a gamble when going to a new restaurant! We were very impressed. The atmosphere was nice and the food was great! It had lots of great taste and the presentation was also well done. This is definitely a step up from the usual Mexican restaurant that just slaps the beans and rice on the the plate. The portions are very generous. The prices were comparable to other restaurants that serve good quality food. This may become our favorite Mexican Restaurant!

I have visited Barrigas a few times and have always enjoyed it. The service is efficient and friendly, there is a broad selection of dishes, the salsa with the complementary chips is fresh and spicy. On this occasion, I had the Pork Carnitas, which was a bit of a disappointment compared to my past choices (dry and very little onion), but the overall dining experience was still quite nice.

Upon looking for some good nachos, Barrigas was put on my radar. The reviews were on point as the service was great, even with a mostly full house. The Nachos (picture doesn’t do it justice as I ate some begot taking the picture) were crispy, the guac, cheese, and chicken were fresh and seasoned very well, and the extra bag of tortilla chips was a great addition. I’d definitely come back to try something ends the next time I’m in Boise.

I had mole chicken enchiladas which wasn’t bad but just average, the chimichangas however were delicious and I’d definitely come back for more of that, our server would come to check on us a lot which I don’t mind and I’m glad they could be of great service on a Friday night.

Nice setting and decore. Good service. Hot fresh food and fast. 4 star because the food is good but not great. The meat somewhat bland. For Mexican food to be great to me the meat should have some good flavor. Most idaho Mexican restaurants are good not great.

We had dinner here with our daughter and her husband. The food was fresh and delicious. Their chips and salsa are also really good. We’d give 5 stars except we think their dinner prices are a bit high. For example: $11.99 for a cheese quesadilla; add $4 for meat. Their lunch prices are better.

You won’t be disappointed here while enjoying your Mexican food fix!! We weren’t sure we would find great Mexican food here in the Treasure Valley, but thankfully were given the recommendation to come here. Homemade chips are addicting and we have split the fajitas twice now with leftovers! Great peach margarita and virgin pina colada. Love this place, service top notch.
