What a great stop on the way to grand isle. Off of the beaten path and a desolate looking parking lot. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and the bloody Mary. The shrimp and crawfish for the bloody mary were a little bland, but the soft shell crab was excellent. The chargrilled oysters were fresh and had a great flavor and topping. The green tomatoes with the bisque were a hit. The snapper was perfectly cooked, the potato was piping hot and not dry, and the salad was very good also.

Slow service. They were ill prepared for a catered event and we waited about an hour for our food. Once the food arrived it was a sad, small portion for the price. Not impressed, poor food at a high price. The pic is of my small blackened catfish “platter”. That’s the saddest platter I’ve ever seen. If I were a cook I’d be embarrassed to send that out the kitchen.

The music was the best part. They played our request and sang our kids favorite song for them. Our bill was insane for a family of 4. Over a hundred dollars when we were expecting it to be around 50-60. The waitress was the slowest ever. Not to be harsh because we never complain.. but it was ridiculous. The food, the prices, the service, everything except the music was terrible. My husband got so tired of waiting for the waitress to bring him a beer that he went to the bar and bought himself one. About a half an hour to get a drink refill and never got the crackers our kids asked for while waiting for the food to come. Never going back!

Drunks walking around while u try to eat. Some foods good.i won’t come back nor will anyone I know. Very pricey for a place made out of plywood.
