I used to love the pizza they made; I preferred it over any other pizza place. They have recently changed how they make the pizza and it’s disheartening. You can tell the dough is different and they use very little pizza sauce compared to before— the sauce was the best part! I’m disappointed they’ve cut corners to try to increase business revenue. This isn’t how a quality customer based (at that a LOCAL business) should behave. I hope they go back to providing the original service which made them a great pizzeria in the first place.

Are you kidding me Stubborn cream soda on fountain?!!! These have to be some of the best lunch specials in town. Every one of the eight specials is cheaper than many combo meals at fast food places. Seriously, next time you want a quick lunch for a great price, take the extra 5 minutes and avoid a drive through. The pizza quality is constantly good. While you can get a better pie if you are willing to pay more and wait longer, most pizza at this price is far lower quality.

Barro’s might take the cake for the best bang for your buck. The thick crust pizza is crispy on the bottom, fully cooked and not doughy in the center. It’s perfect the toppings and flavor of the baked pizza is spot on. Only $18 for large half mushroom half veggie pizza. The lunch specials are a great deal too, starting at 2.50 a slice and deals get better from there.

Barro’s has been our go-to pizza delivery choice for some time. They’re close, which guarantees we get a hot pizza on our doorstep every time. They have never disappointed, very consistent. Their traditional crust (they offer a thin crust) is on the thicker side, but not too much. The crust is pillow-y and soft on the inside but crispy on the ends and bottom. Might be too much bread for some. Their red pizza sauce is uniquely special. It’s not just there, it adds personality to the flavor. Tonight we ordered a few pies and some Buffalo chicken wings. First of all, everything was hot and fresh when it arrived. The wings were saucy but still nice and crispy. Their White Pizza, with ricotta, is one of the best white pies I have ever had. We also had a cheese only and a sausage and mushroom pie. They were equally cooked to perfection. No excess grease and perfectly cooked tops. These pizzas always deliver well, and you can’t say that for all pizza delivery.
