We arrived at 5:45 on a Friday and it wasn’t busy yet, but by 6:45 the place was mostly full. I’d recommend making a reservation during busy hours. It was very chilly inside when we were here, so if you’re sensitive to that, I recommend bringing a jacket or sweater. As far as the food goes, my husband’s shrimp tacos were good. My daughter really enjoyed her chicken strips and said the mac and cheese and homemade chips were great. My burger was cooked perfectly, and the first few bites tasted good, but after a while all I could taste was the salt. My fries were also WAY too salty and should have been sent back, but our server didn’t come back until we were nearly done eating to ask if we needed more water. Then he never came back again and I had to go to the front desk to ask for our bill. When he brought it, he didn’t even apologize. I gave a tip to the gentleman who was working his tail off all night and took time to box up our leftovers because our waiter disappeared.

The food was very good, it’s definitely a trendy and unique menu. The atmosphere is super warm and comforting, and the restaurant has local artists’ painting hanging up. The art is switched up every so often. Only docking one star because the service wasn’t the best. However, if you’re looking for a hip place to drink/eat, this is one of the coziest places to be.

Always great. Never had a bad meal. Love their chef specials they are always unique. I had the Spicy Pineapple Chicken Salad my last visit and it was delicious. Great Beer selection and tins of cocktails available

This restaurant pub is such a staple for us. My wife and I have had many dates and celebrated multiple occasions here because of the consistency in a great dining experience. Barr’s Public House is a fantastic choice for delicious food, drinks or even a bit of both!

The entire experience we had at Barr’s Public House was incredible! We got there shortly after they opened on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. The ambience of the interior is awesome and it’s a pretty big location. Easy to navigate, large parking lot.
