Tried Barry’s for the first time with my boyfriend and friends for lunch ambiance is nice and relaxing. I got the tikka masala combo (chicken & shrimp) it came with rice,garlic naan and cilantro for toppings, price is very good my meal was $8 and taste really good. If you’re craving for burgers they have amazing burgers as well.☺️ Definitely would go back to this place. If you haven’t go check this place out.

Friendly staff. Very attentive personnel. Great tasting food: shrimp basket, fish basket, mozzarella sticks, pizza and nachos. On the day of my visit, there was no small pie available and had to purchase a large one ($15) which includes one topping. Nachos are 6 large pieces of nachos with plenty of topping: chicken, tomatoes and cilantro sauce. Ask for sour cream on the side of you like that. Plenty of alcohol choices available and non-alcoholic drinks available also: Gatorade, bottle water, etc. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Indoor seating have television and the decor is really nice. Outdoor seating with umbrella and comfortable chairs and tables made of PVC pipes. Located a part of La Quinta Inn and accessible through the hotel by the pool area or accessible through the beach. Open to the entire public.

This was our favorite place to eat while in South Padre the Hershel’s burger was amazing, we ordered it 3 times because of how good it was! The one thing I wouldn’t recommend eating here is the Cajun pasta, it’s basically just pasta in a pizza like marinara sauce, that was the only disappointment with this place! If we travel to South Padre again this is where we’ll be eating!

The food overall is ok. However, beware of the pizza. It was $23 for a small pizza. By small…I mean it would feed me and a small toddler. I was shocked when they handed me this small box for $23. They should probably note the size of their pizzas on their menu. The rest of their prices seemed reasonable, but I feel the pizza was a little in the shady side, probably bc this is what families would order most often and they are trying to make their money. But a family if 4 would probably need to order 2 or 3 of these.

The Alfredo was really bland, dry and lacked any type of flavor. The buffalo pizza was actually really good. Skip the pasta, burgers are ok but pizza is the way to go.

I was very confused when I got my food, I ordered the seafood platter, and when I opened the box my mind was blown because all the fried fish and shrimp and fries, #1 made me feel as if I was rocking on the titanic as it sank , #2 it made me look like a picky eater, which is highly inaccurate. I am quite adventurous with my pallet. And finally, #3 my food was presented in a Cartboard box, not a platter, which I believe is false advertisement. Anyways, I do not recommend the seafood platter unless you’re a picky 10 year old that only eats food that cause diabetes and heart disease. The Tikka masala and fish burger were 10/10 very yummy I highly recommend these if your a fan of edible food. The service was okay but the guy said that he would come outside and give us our food but we had to end up coming inside the restaurant and grab our food ourselves. Overall I give this place a 8/10, I might be coming back I will have to see.
