Today I had the worst food experience ever! I live in Windsor all my life and the new owners definitely don’t know how to cook or just don’t care! I ordered a steak & cheese and the steak was just horrible! The lettuce was wet ! I ordered home fries and they tasted dull, no seasoning what so ever! Not even a little salt! We also got chicken nuggets for my little one and she only 4 years old, she spit it right out! I’m so sad, wasted my money!

I ordered a BLT (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato) and this is what I was given. Stale bread, half a slice of bacon, a sliver of onion, and a smidge of mayo. I would’ve been more satisfied eating canned dog food instead of the “sandwich” yall served me. They serve better sandwiches in prison. THE INGREDIENTS ARE LITERALLY IN THE NAME OF THE SANDWICH? I didnt even know that someone could mess up a sandwich as badly as yall did. Yall need to fire yall’s cook, or just close the doors for good if this is what people are going to get. Yall are stealing people’s money when people order food and this is what they get in return. Bart’s is a complete joke.

The only good part of my experience was the customer service from the young man up front who was very polite. Food is nothing like it was growing up don’t waste your time. The new owners ruined it. My daughters grilled cheese was barely grilled and the cheese wasn’t even melted the burgers were like the ones they serve in a school cafeteria. I got the barts famous dog and there was way too much on it and it was too sweet due to the sweet chili sauce loaded on. This place should be on its way out soon. It’s unfortunate Bart’s was the place to be at one point.

What a disappointment. Haven’t been in awhile and Barts always had such a fun atmosphere, not anymore. Today will be the last time I go there. The girl taking my order didn’t understand a simple request I had, the hot dog bun was hardly grilled, and the fries tasted like fish. Sad to have had an iconic establishment for years go downhill with the new owners. I don’t even give it a star

Beautiful and convenient location, river runs through back of parking lot with canoe rentals there too. Staff are pleasant and service quick. Perfect place to grab a sandwich sit by the water and maybe go for a paddle

Barts was always a classic and I was really hoping under new management they would run with it and make it their own. The fries were okay, but the milk shakes were horrible. They tasted like water. We also had to wait for awhile as they person we ordered from also had to make the food. I felt bad honestly. This place has so much potential, but unfortunately this isn’t it. The decor is so random and it felt super run down and dirty. Hopefully they’ll sell it to people who can do a better job.

This is so very sad, This place is awful now- A classic Windsor restaurant and community place absolutely has gone down hill. WAYYYYYY down hill- i took my daughter for ice cream- they had no cones available, only vanilla or strawberry in a small cup and they would not honor my gift card said it was only valid with the previous owner …. but then now I see online they’re participating with the Windsor center gift card and see that it is/ was the exact gift card I had!!! This is such poor costumer service. Good thing I brought money so my daughter could get her much anticipated ice cream treat. This experience all together was beyond disappointment! If some serious changes are not made I will be VERY surprised if they stay in business. This is very sad for such an iconic and historical place in Windsor.
