If I could give Basic Biscuits more than 5 stars I would! What a great place! Food was stellar. Gravy was *chefs kiss*, biscuits were ALL so good! Our surprise favorite was the lemon lavender, so light, fresh, and delicious. Our counter server was such a delight, bringing all the contagious positive energy on a Sunday afternoon! If you haven’t been yet, it’s a MUST. Don’t be Basic and get your biscuit here now!

Great little place in Grandview. We walked here from our hotel. The biscuits and gravy was amazing!! Quiche with everything bagel seasoning was really good, and the cinnamon roll was delicious.

Super cool, cute little breakfast boutique to grab a sweet and/or savory bite! The staff is exceptionally effervescent and knowledgeable about the craft, and customer centric. Like the name states, the menu is focused around biscuits – they have egg, cheese and sausage/bacon sliders, biscuits and gravy (bomb!), Cinnamon rolls, and a plethora of other savory biscuits. Sliders were tasty, biscuits and gravy were wonderful, cinnamon rolls great, and coffee fresh and hot.

Adorable little cafe with delicious sweet and savory biscuits, biscuit breakfast sandwiches, and quiche. Indoor and outdoor seating and parking (currently being paved). Plenty of cute gift ideas. The entire place, indoor and outdoor, is super neat and clean, including the bathroom.

The food is fantastic and the customer service is stellar. Try something off of the specialty menu and don’t customize it. Her judgment in flavor combinations is totally to be trusted. Bologna on a biscuit breakfast sandwich? Yes. Strawberry jam with goat cheese and sausage?? YES! Even if it sounds strange, give it a try.

944 vs everything
Flavors are always amazing, been here 10-12 times but this will probably be my last, everyone is always so nice but the food is always cold, gravy is cold the biscuits don’t get warmed up and the egg is always cold. Just be a lot more enjoyable if it was warmed up.

This place popped up during the pandemic and I’m impressed by the creativity of the business model. Also, the biscuits are absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to try all the flavors. I haven’t met one yet that I didn’t love. You can buy the biscuits baked or take them to bake at home. Both are great options.

Biscuit was cold , egg and cheese were cold as well. Egg was not fresh, reminded me of a premade frozen patty used at fast food restaurants. $11 for a cold biscuit and coffee after a gracious tip. Extremely small, save tour time and money.

The first time I had heard about Basic Biscuits was when I answered a need for an air conditioner repair. I see many kitchens and most places I make repairs at, visiting as a customer is not an option. But here? The shop is setup so that the kitchen and staff can be seen. I can’t speak for others but, sanitation and cleanliness is extremely important to me, and BB stands out as one of the most pristine. I’ve not been able to work in a clean kitchen like that in a long time. So, I went back the next morning and ordered breakfast sandwiches for me and my coworkers, and we enjoyed them. Thanks again.
