We love Basil Thai. The owners, Pong and Nit are very sweet. The Pad Thai, fried Rice, and Soups are incredible. My sons always get take out whenever they come back to town. I even deliver it to my son in Rochester if he come home. Generous portions. Highly recommend this restaurant

This is mainly takeout now, but wow is their food YUMMY!! I love their curry chicken and then there is a beef with peppers that is amazing. I have had both the red and green curry dishes. Delicious! Definitely give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

Pong and Nit are the nicest humans on the planet. Literally the kindest people ever. My boyfriend and I order from here from time to time and the food never disappoints & it always satisfies our Thai food cravings and keeps us coming back for more. Great prices, and very generous portion sizes. Love this place, will always recommend it!!

The couple that runs this place is very nice, but we ordered the pad thai and the pad kie mao for our entrees. The pad thai was very wet, and extremely sweet. I asked for medium spice and it still had zero spice and very little ingredients other than noodles and chicken. The pad kie mao had lots of different vegetables but was also very wet and had almost no flavor. The eggrolls we ordered were good. The prices are reasonable but we didn’t like the food when we ordered about a year ago, figured we would try it again but I think this one is off our list now. A few more expensive places just north of Syracuse that have much better food.

Lady working in the front is the absolute rudest person you could imagine, I do not understand how someone can be that rude working in customer service. Food was super sweet just eh. Service was a zero.

Food is good. It’s the only Thai in the county so nothing to compare it to unless you go to Syracuse.

We went in to sit down and order food. It isn’t very clear because signs indicate you can eat in, and one says you cannot. We ordered at the counter and tried to ask if we could dine in, but she told us no. However, while we were waiting for our food a gentleman came in and picked up his food and sat at one of the tables. The wife’s owner quickly looked at us out the side of her eye and then went over and took a drink order from the gentleman.

It’s great food and the place is very nice and neat. It’s run by just the owner and his wife.

I want to like this place because it’s the only Thai take out in the area, but every time I try it I’m disappointed. The veggie eggs rolls are very thin and had very little filling. The curry was an ok spice but very watery and I got half a container of rice. All in all it’s never enjoyable to me when it doesn’t feel authentic and like I’m getting ripped off.
