Possibly the worst experience I have had eating out. Food took so long and as a Sunday with barely 10 people eating… wow. Appetizer crispy shrimp and calamari came out as clumps…excluding two shrimp that were seperate..peppers were covered In oil….did not finish, then main entre stir fried beef was cold, server serves my dish to another table only to bring to me afterwards. Salty, cold, three bites had to stop…. see photos on bar top… plates collecting… server did not even ask if anything was wrong…. which it clearly was as I closed out as fast as I could….. oh and the filth dirt building up on back wall in plain sight of patrons… it is not a feature to be proud of……

Ordered the Shaking Beef and it was excellent. Service was slow especially considering we stopped by for lunch and it wasn’t busy. Fully expect food to take a longer time.

First time at this Pho restaurant, it’s super clean, easy access and has a great opened space parking. The best Pho and Lemon beef grass noodle by the office! I am super impressed of the taste, portion and quality of the ingredients, all on point. I was doubting about the taste when I found out the cook is not Vietnamese but was trained by a Vietnamese chef from California in the town where I used to live. I know how Pho is is supposed to taste especially from the Little Saigon town. Besides that, I grew up with 100% home cooked pho and so I am pretty much an expert at making Pho myself and all Vietnamese dishes. I didn’t taste MSG at all, the broth was perfect, not too salty nor too sweet nor dark and meat tasted fresh and sliced perfectly. The lemon grass bowl was tasty too and perfect kick of chili, not too spicy and super balanced with amount of lemon grass. We were sure happy with our choice. The owners are super friendly and fun to talk to. I definitely will be back with my friends/business partners. A great late lunch-early dinner, I spent one 1 hr there, tasting every single scoop until nothing left! What a great day when you have a great bowl of pho in conjunction with beef vermicelli! Thank you for bringing a great pho restaurant into town! I don’t need to drive to California just because of great pho restaurants like this!

First customer to come in for a Saturday lunch. Place is clean and tidy. All tables have place settings ready. Our server is very polite and attentive. We got a complimentary shrimp chip basket (yummy) to work on while we decide what to order. The music gives the ambiance a pop vibe. The food we had is great! The pix speak volumes. The hot tea, though, could use hotter water. Oh… I got excited they have bubble tea on the menu… but they don’t have any during our visit. Bummer. Will come back. They better have bubble tea! LOL

Hipish spot. Food is super neutral. Had the vegan pho and the spicy beef. I don’t expect vegan pho to be great so I wasn’t surprised lol. The spicy beef wasn’t spicy(per my partner).

Today was my first time here and it was a recommendation from a friend who had dined here before. I will never return to this establishment.

I have to admit that I’ve never been a huge fan of Vietnamese food, though Basilic Vietnamese Kitchen may have changed my mind. We started with the Crispy Shrimp Chips which are as stated. They were nice and it gave us a chance to try out the condiments on the table to see what we liked. We then moved on to the Appetizer Combination Platter. Great choice! The egg rolls were fairly standard, the Spring Rolls were quite good with the different sauces, and the Crispy Calamari was divine! They pair the Calamari with a stir fry charred mild pepper which balances out the heaviness of the fried food. I’ve never seen it served this way before and my taste buds were happy for the contrast. I had the Spicy Lemongrass Chicken. As a hardened AZ transplant I was hoping their “Spicy” description referred to a level of heat, sadly it did not. The dish was quite good in flavor but lacked any heat. My companion had the Spicy Stir Fried Beef. He said the same; good flavor, zero heat. Overall the experience was good though I would still say they are in the “soft” opening phase where they are still getting the operation to function smoothly. We’ll be back!
