Wow. Wow. Wow. Ordered for pick up and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. We went back after another 15 and picked up the food and brought it to our room, only to discover the following issues and missing carrot cake. We went back and they would not replace the food because the kitchen was closed.

Serves food daily till 11pm. Typically we order out, but thought to try Basil’s Kitchen this time. Great food, price was as expected. Oscar was attentive and spot on service. After a rough day of flights, it was nice to be able to go down to Basil’s for drinks and late dinner. Thank you for a great experience. Will return.

So these wings are supposed to be hot honey garlic according to the menu, but they are actually just sweet chili sauce and wings. They were fine but not what was on the menu.

Wondered in here for a few beers and some lunch. There was 3 other tables and us in the place. It took 25 minutes before the waitress even came too take our drink and food order. She was working alone and had to keep walking all the way to the other end of the restaurant to get the food when it was ready. We got our food and they had forgotten the mayo so she said she would be back. A few minutes later she returned with ketchup and mustard and than left. So instead of waiting another 25 minutes we decided to eat well it was still hot. The burgers could have been cooked a few minutes longer too achieve the way we ordered it. overall it was decent. The second beer took awhile too get as well. We were all done waiting for anything else other than the bill at this point. She came in the direction several times but never asked us if we needed anything at all. Eventually we flagged her down and she brought the bill. We had burgers, fries, and 2 beers each bill was about $65. I feel bad for this waitress as she shouldn’t have too run around like that trying to get it together to make a few tips. Could be a decent place if they had more staff and paid a little more attention.

Omg this place is a gem. The food is amazing. I got a grilled cheese and tomato soup because I wanted something simple. It was beyond simple. It was absolutely delicious. It was so good I got it for lunch and then went back for dinner the same night. The staff and atmosphere was above and beyond.

Love this place. Come here every year for a convention. Carlos, Fernando, Juan, and Oscar are awesome at the bar. They always take really good care of me. Basil Burger is delicious. Some of the menu items could be improved but it is bar food and priced as such. Who can complain about free happy hour every day. No need to leave the hotel. Basil’s has you covered for food and drink.

Food is OK. If you’re attending the convention center and use your discount it’s a great way to get food close by that isn’t expensive and leaves you feeling better than fast food.

Came here for lunch while at conference. No one to greet me when I walked in. Sat on bar. Bar tender ignored me for first 7 minutes. Then without saying a world plunked a flimsy one page menu down. On the menu: a couple soups, salads and sandwiches. Nothing remotely Mediterranean. I ordered the tomato soup which tasted like it was made from an instant soup mix. Next I ordered the burger and requested no bacon. Of course, burger was served to me with bacon. When I finally got the burger the way I ordered it, it was editable, but nothing special. Look elsewhere.

We were in town for a convention and staying at this hotel so eating here was convenient. The service was consistently good and the meals were ok. Certain things were better than others. (Burgers, eggplant lasagna and soup were good, beef medallions and pizza were ok).
