When hunger strikes, our menu features a tempting selection of apps and light bites that are perfect for snacking and sharing. You’ll find several indoor and outdoor seating options for small and large groups all year-round and our upstairs lounge area features a dart board, a shuffleboard table and a giant, wall-mounted Scrabble board.
We do not take reservations however you can add your name to the waitlist before you come see us and skip the wait!

We visit Kennebunk often and have been here a handful of times. The atmosphere is great with lots of outdoor seating. It gets busy during peak days/times, but it’s a big, multi-level spot with lots of indoor and outdoor tables. No reservations, walk-in only. Very dog friendly! In terms of food, recommend the strawberry rhubarb salad and fried chicken sandwich.

Really nice bar and bites place. The atmosphere is a bit different from the surrounding NE fishing village vibe down the street. Although the appetizer Cajun fries were nothing special the drinks, cornbread, and Mussels were fantastic. I would highly recommend for the cocktails if nothing else.

The good: beer and drinks were excellent. Server was great. Food freshness was fantastic. Location and ambiance are good. The bad: hostess should be fired… sent many groups away even though there were over 40 open seats. Disorganized operation. Maybe the manager should be fired too. Incredibly rude staff (except for our server)…”no you cannot go in and look around”…”no you can’t use the restroom while waiting”. If you can tolerate really lousy staff, and not a great value for what you get, try Bateson River Brewing, Kennebunk.

Such a nice place to grab food and enjoy the views! The service was friendly and attentive and the drinks were great. The smash burger is, without a doubt, my favorite burger that I’ve had at any restaurant across any of the various countries/states that we’ve visited! Loved the upbeat vibe and how dog-friendly it is. Definitely coming back!

A cozy little brewery/distillery. The food & drink menu may be minimal, but the flavor is certainly not. The drinks are mixed well by knowledgeable bartenders. However, the food was the show-stopper. Order the duck fat cornbread. Just do it. We ordered a variety of apps, and every single one was delicious. We visited in the off-season, but they still delivered great service and quality. Outside are 5-6 little private “ice fishing huts,” where you can sit with a group of 4-6 people for an extra hourly rate. I will definitely visit again in the summer.

I came to the Wells, Maine location. Heather greeted me and seated me at the bar with a drink and food menu. Peter was my bartender and waiter. He suggested the Strawberry Basil Cosmo with the house made vodka. It was perfect. Me being from New Orleans it had the right amount of vodka . I ordered the smoked haddock chowder, garlic + chili wings, and the glazed carrots. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. I enjoyed my pre-birthday dining experience!
