They were out of their west coast IPA. Had a few other IPAs though. BBQ nachos were decent. Maple Vinaigrette was really good. Cornbread came out burnt on the bottom and I noticed some of the sandwiches coming out of the kitchen looked burnt. Parking seems somewhat limited but we were able to get a spot.

Stopped in for some beers and it was great! My husband had a flight. The Battle Alley Light and 3 IPAs were delicious. We also tried and loved the Dutch Apple- tasted like tailgating at MSU in the fall. While the pineapple cider was excellent, my favorite was the Wockenfuss Wheat! Great people there. Enjoyed meeting Corey and Laura, two of the owners. Brittany was an excellent bartender. Worth a trip back from Grand Ledge! Next time we’ll come hungry so we can try the food.

Such a great hometown brewery. Wonderful and friendly staff with great service and customer interaction. From IPA to Stout and many other styles in between, I haven’t had a beer that wasn’t good! Lots of extras, including trivia, live music, holiday events and specials. The food knocks it out of the park. Burgers, bbq and even seasonal selections! The Bad Axe nachos are out of this world make sure you add their wonderful brisket. The fried green tomatoes or the BLT that includes them is delightful. I have not had anything that didn’t taste awesome. Recently had the white chili which was killer. Add it to your list of great stops! You will not be disappointed.

The food was delicious. I wanted to take a fancy pic but I couldn’t put my fork down long enough Very well crafted beer. I was very pleasantly surprised by the smoked cheese cake. Wait staff was attentive and very pleasant. Everyone was friendly. Can’t say enough good things.

Honestly, best BBQ I have had in a long time. I would like to call myself an IPA, wing, and cheesecake connoisseur and they knocked it out of the park. I’ve never been a big turkey fan and their turkey melt changed my mind. Amazingly tasty. And such great service, everyone was so friendly. I will be back soon!

This is such a special place! We’ve dined in twice, and have ordered take-out a few times too. The food is SO good. The Battle Burger has to be our favorite. We’ve also tried the brisket melt sandwich, fried green tomatoes, wings, mac and cheese – all outstanding! The atmosphere is fun and laid back – some days they even have live music. Staff is wonderful; very friendly and great with our kids, too. We will keep coming back 🙂
