My family and I ate here on Memorial Weekend 2023. The service was absolutely wonderful and the food taste so good. Will always be a “go to” stop when we come camping here or even driving through. The family story and history makes this place even better! Must stop in, especially if you love grandma’s cooking style! ❤️

Delicious donuts and mediocre coffee are the only things worthwhile in this place. Sent food back just for it to come out even worse the second time. Paid and left, won’t be returning. Drive to tawas if you want breakfast.

If you are an out of towner, do not stop here. This place is old and miserable. The women working here are as old as the location which is no problem, it is their ATTITUDES that is an ISSUE. We did not mind that things took longer because they could not move as fast but to blatantly ignore refilling and to only focus on their regulars is ridiculous. To scold families with hungry young children who were impatiently waiting for their food was ridiculous. I will never return and will warn every person i know. Even the locals around told us we should have never went there. The food was so cold when it arrived and had NO FLAVOR. Absolutely the worst place.

Was in the area and had seen this restaurant online when looking for good restaurants in Oscoda so stopped off for breakfast. Lovely restaurant and loved the décor. Food was very tasty and filing. Wait stuff was very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

I don’t know where to even start with this place… Ordered breakfast, or what they claimed was breakfast… the bacon was as rubbery as a Goodyear tire, the eggs were cold, hash browns and onions undercooked. The pancakes could be used as a kitchen sponge and the OJ was bitter… Ants on the table made it interesting. The server never brought us the extra napkins we asked for or any water. There was a wait to pay as there was no one at the cash register. Also they charge $2.50 if you are using a credit card… just close down, it’s safer for everyone that way.

Got Seated by a not so friendly hostess. My friend and I sat at the table for a long time and waited. They were not busy. NO SERVICE! Walked out. Not worth it
