Went with a large group of people (10). Waiter was friendly and explained easily the different German foods and drinks. He was great separating the bills, taking photos with us and of us. The musicians were fun and talented. A woman that played accordion and sang and a man that accompanied her on multiple instruments. The foods were delicious and authentic. It was a fun filled, yummy evening for our whole group!

I lived in Germany for a year and I have to say, this took me back! The authenticity was impressive! The staff was amazing. The atmosphere was family friendly. But the food was the best part! A pretzel with beer cheese dip is a must try. It pairs nicely with an ice cold hefeweizen served in a boot! For dinner, I ordered the Ruben and have to admit, it might be one of the best I’ve ever had!

So excited to find this great authentic German restaurant on a recent trip to Nashville. Amazing food with more beer you can wish for. This restaurant alone makes me wish I lived closer to Nashville. Our server was awesome. I can’t remember her name but it started with an A. She was amazing. I’m new to German food and beer and she was amazing she selected my beer flight for me and it was top notch. The food was top teir. I ate at the jack Daniel’s restaurant the night before and I fill like it was a waste of money compared to this place. I’ll be back in August and you better believe come hell or high water I’ll be back to eat!

4/5 only because they said my “Massive” fried haddock was quite small (See Picture). When I addressed it to the server he brought me out another piece of fish for free so they addressed the problem efficiently and effectively.

Got pretzel and beer cheese. Ok. I had the sausage platter…good. my mom got the Ruben…very disappointing. Corned beef was tough and rubbery. Sandwich mostly saurcraut. For 16 bucks. Pathetic. Do better. Oh only way to pay bill is to scan qr code and pay with phone…if you have old phone like me, they give you a random tablet to place order etc. Only way to pay is entering your card info into random tablet. Ah NO. Not even cash option to pay! Garbage worst lunch in very long time.

Fun place! The service is excellent, and the food was delicious. My wife and I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich with bacon and fried egg ( the adds were the waitress’s suggestion), and it was superb. I got the side of German potato salad, and she had the red cabbage, and they were both very good. Our kids got a combo meal, and they were both excellent also.

SO, we had a reservation and checked in online and it said they would call when the table was ready. So we are standing at the host table and the lady had a scowl (lavender dress for reference) and was looking at us and asked if we needed help. My brother said well we checked in online and she was so unfriendly and snarky and says “well you need to check in here, you could be 10 minutes away and we don’t know” …so I said “well we have never been here before and it (the app) said y’all would call us, so how do we know”? So she seated us and we sat for the longest time. About to leave, and my Husband waved down a server and asked for some help. He was so sweet! A TOTAL ASSET to this place!!! He turned our WHOLE feel around. So Bavarian Bierhaus Jake is AMAZING!! Because of him we WILL return. You do need to inform hostesses ESPECIALLY if they find out this is your first time how it all works. And you can be pleasant at the very least. Fake a smile or SOMETHING.

Excellent service, delicious food , large glasses of beer, and live performances that you enjoy to the fullest. I love the pretzels at this place. It is perfect for that family lunch that you have been thinking about for a long time and never specify. This is the place to finally enjoy that family reunion.
