I decided to stop by and try their food because the aroma was so strong outside it enticed me. I ordered Chilli chicken, pakora, chicken byriani, butter chicken and Naan. I give this place an over all 4.5 rating. The food was great and had a nice amount of flavor and spice, I usually expect my byriani to come out somewhat bland but this place has a great flavor !!! I think that the Chilli chicken could be more of the traditional crispy and red one , this one is more of the indo Chinese chilli chicken. The chilli chicken is stilll good, though. I will also say that the chicken is fresh!

The restaurant is best suited for call ahead take out. The interior of the restaurant is cramped and humid (an authentic Indian experience). I ordered to-go at the restaurant (mistake) and waited about 45 minutes from the time I placed my order to receive my food. I ordered the non veg thali, veg thali, and Masala Dosa. The total price for these three items was just over $35 before leaving a tip. The dosa was thicker than desired and soggy. After coming home, I placed it on a griddle for a bit to crisp it. The thali was served with a generous amount of plain white rice. The other items were in a 5.5 oz plastic container. For sauces and veg this size container was suitable. For the meat dishes, the reality of bones significantly reduced the actual amount of edible food in the small container. Everything was spicy (you should be prepared for the heat). The okra was dehydrated. The chicken and goat curry was flavorful but actual meat to bone ratio in the small container was disappointing. Sambar was watery. Shrimp was flavorful. While I was waiting a gentleman delivered large aluminum trays of prepared food. He told me he was the owner and the food delivered was from his Frisco location. Overall, a convenient location for take out to meet cravings.

Small restaurant that was previously a donut shop. Food tasted great. Service was quick. Loved the paratha. I’ve never had that type of flaky flatbread. I tried asking for a recommendation but there was a slight language barrier so I asked for an extra spicy chicken curry. Any recommendations?

I was very happy about having an Indian restaurant in Denton initially but was totally disappointed with the food and their service. I have never seen a restaurant serving sambar in a sauce containers which doesn’t even be sufficient for a single idly. There should at least be water provided with food but these people are charging for it. Also there were no one at the front desk, we should keep on calling them for their service. Hitting a single star for the tea. Hope they upgrade soon.

Reasonably priced food and great customer service. I got the masala dosa and a cup of chai. Masala dosa comes with two dosas, chutney, and sambar. It was spicy! The chai cup is small like shotglass size.

Pros: The staff are so very friendly and the food tastes great. (Spicy, too) We received some free appetizers while we waited for our entrees. The owner let me borrow an iPhone charger because my phone was almost dead. A+ service.

I had a terrible experience at a kitchen recently. The AC was not working, making the environment uncomfortable, and the owner’s behavior towards customers was unpleasant. The lack of a functioning AC in a kitchen is unacceptable, and it significantly impacted the dining experience. Additionally, the owner displayed a cold and disinterested attitude, neglecting customer concerns without offering any apologies or solutions. I do not recommend this kitchen to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.

I have only gotten takeout from this restaurant and have only tried Thalis both veg and non veg. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic. Decent portion size for each item on the Thalis. Really liked the variety of options. I appreciated how every dish had its own unique taste, unlike a lot of other Indian restaurants where everything gets cooked in the same curry or sauce. I found their price reasonable for the items I ordered. I would definitely recommend trying out the food! The interior dining lobby of the restaurant needs more decoration, probably a good cleaning and organization for patrons who would like to sit down and dine in. Good customer service.
