I loved the appetizers. We ordered chicken 65 and Chicken 555, they were both very tasty and delicious. We also ordered Bawarchi boneless chicken Biryani and it’s also very good. The service was very good as well as the hospitality. Definitely recommend everyone to try Bawarchi Vernon Hills.

When I walked in the service was amazing as I was greeted and seated immediately. The appetizers was the best part of the meal. Specifically, the chicken 65 and naan with paneer was delicious and none of the food was too spicy. For the main course the biryani was also to my liking with the spice being moderate, but more importantly the taste was amazing. In general my experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for all occasions whether it be catering, to go, or just a casual sit down dinner.

We were relieved when they opened this restaurant In Vernon Hills. But the quality of food is no match to the Schaumburg Bawarchi. Quality of meat is so bad. In a biryani you will just need up with 3 mutton pieces. And how many ever times you complain the quality of food doesn’t change…

I am really happy with my visit to Bawarchi restaurant. (Had food 3 times there since they rebranded and opened in the past month). Some of the food I liked was Chicken 555 – it was well prepared, tasted very good, had overall balance of spicy yet not too spicy and was very soft and savored till the last bite. We then had the Five spice chicken noodles (we ordered a egg version and no chicken) it was delicious as hell – you don’t usually get that kind of taste for noodles here in the US. It reminded me of the street noodles we used to have back in India. Thank you Bawarchi for making those noodles. The other day when we visited the second time, we had the Masala Dosa – in a single line it was THE best Dosa I had in years and they also make fresh chutneys unlike some who just use frozen! We also had the Bawarchi Chicken Biryani Boneless and it was perfectly prepared. The rice had the right flavor and chicken was tender and tasted pretty good. Oh and did I mention they give pretty generous quantities in the To-go orders? And in the end, the Gulab Jamoon – for those of you who don’t know – this is like the Indian version of Dunkin Munchkins but they are kept dipped in a sugar syrup ( yum yum) and wayyy better than that. Gulab Jamoons here were perfectly round, soft and squishy, had just the right amount of sweetness, were freshely made and not store bought like some other places, and we just couldn’t stop eating them and kept fighting for the last one.

Very less quantity and poor taste. When it was 7 Spices it was good and now just 4 small piece of chicken in fried rice, too much rice. Totally very poor in all the food varieties, better the 7 spices guys can take over back.

This restaurant doesn’t need any review at all in first place. One star is given only in order to post my review. The taste and quality of food here totally sucks. Second, the management doesn’t even cared even when we mentioned that ordered food smells and couldn’t eat it. I would prefer any other place other than this restaurant next time.

This restaurant is AMAZING. New management took over this location last month (earlier restaurant was called 7 Spices Indian Cuisine). I’ve already visited this new restaurant three times, did dine-in as well as to-go. The food here is THE BEST OF THE BEST INDIAN CUISINE. It is not toned down to blandness like many Indian restaurants do. By default, they serve you real Indian spices food that looks, smells(aromas) and tastes like Indian food. One has to specifically ask for toned-down non-spicy food if that is what they are looking for. Bawarchi is a franchise brand and each location is independently owned by local small businessmen and Bawarchi brand is synonymous for authentic ‘Biriyani’. This location has real authentic biriyanis with many special varieties- I had their Ulavachaaru Chicken Biriyani and LOVED it. Every rice grain was cooked perfectly in Ulavachaaru. Also had Mutton Biriyani, Boneless Chicken Biriyani, Pepper Chicken fry, Tandoori Chicken and Chettinadu Spicy Chicken Curry. Everybody talks about how tasty the Biriyanis and curries are but I can say the real hidden gem is the all vegetarian items DOSA and RAVA DOSA. I have had the best Dosas here. You have to eat Dosa here to appreciate how well a Dosa can be made. Try masala Dosa with potato stuffing. All in all, I want to say THANK YOU to the New Owners for serving real authentic spice filled and aromatic Indian food. I loved so much that asked my Office Manager to order next catering from you guys and yesterday we got our wish fulfilled. See the pictures……every single person in our office admired your food , relished it and packed to-go boxes for dinners. You guys even sent us a stack of to-go boxes along with the delivery driver.
