Went for dinner. Our server was absolutely so so sweet and so kind. The Alfredo and the walleye had zero to no taste. Walleye was just such an off taste. Our server took great care of us. Manager girl, came over asked what went on. Had a terrible upfront presentation. Then went on to tell other employees who all stared at our direction. Unprofessional. And embarrassing. Again. Server was absolutely so so sweet. We tipped her well. We will not eat here again. We never complain and made it very clear we were very apologetic. Don’t charge $30 for fish that tastes old. Or $19 for Alfredo that had no taste. Drinks weee great!! If the manager responded in a kind professional way, we would not be leaving our review.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, plated nicely, had tasty vegetables served with it, and had excellent portion sizes (picture posted with review). They had excellent desserts, I had the chocolate torte which had a nice rich flavor, my father had the custard truffle which also had a nice flavor and came with plenty of delicious fresh fruits. Restaurant was clean, and was not very busy when I visited. The online menu on google did not match the in restaurant menu, however, so I ended up getting the rosemary porterhouse pork chop.

I am writing from the bar perspective. They had a solid selection of beers. Ace was our server on Thanksgiving and was fantastic! They make an amazing Jameson ginger ale without ginger ale.

Horrible experience!!! My daughters lemonade was so watered down it didn’t even taste like lemonade, my water tasted like it was from the lake, and our cheese curds were disgusting. We waited over 20 minutes after getting our appetizer, that even the kids wouldn’t eat, before I went up to the waitress to tell her how horrible it was and that we were leaving. Charged full price for 3 sodas that we didn’t drink and an app we didn’t eat!!!!

We were staying near this restaurant and having difficulty finding a place to eat on a Friday night without reservations or long waits. I’m so glad we found Baxter’s Grill & Bar as both the food and service were good.

It was okay. Food was awesome! I don’t know what was going on, but there were two servers standing around doing little or nothing. The bartender was doing all/ most of the work. And it was she who sat us and had to ask for a server for us. Next time, we’ll sit at the bar to eat.

Went out for supper on a Wednesday evening. The waitress was incompetent, took at least 10 minutes to get a pop, 3 waters, a juice, and 2 alcohol beverages.

We have 16 people over for Christmas this week. We needed a break from cooking every meal and this was perfect. Amazing food and Food Dudes was prompt with delivery. Thank you so much to the staff at Baxter’s Bar and Grill for working the day after Christmas and getting us a ton of great tasting food!
