I really love, and enjoyed coming to Bayonne Batter the food was phenomenal!!!!! And I will tell you the flavors is on point!!!!!!! the best seafood, hands-down everything is cooked fresh, so do not expect your food in five seconds it’s made in its perfection!!!!

I dnt understand the only soul food place been waiting for and is garbage! My Mac and cheese was only baked in butter no cheese lol salmon had a rip Like tasted for doneness lol I didn’t taste nothing else I threw 35 in trash and 5 dollar tip lol im Puerto Rican and I could throw down better than this!! They don’t care cause they think all are white ..no I seen afro American in there you failed..food sucks!! 35 bucks

I was disappointed. The Mac was dry and lacked seasoning & love. Collards I would have liked seasoned more and cooked more. I couldn’t get yams or waffles so I had to settle for what was available. The spicy garlic wings were good.

Absolutely amazing shrimp, grits, and collards! I miss the Southern comfort food since moving back to the N.east coast and these guys know exactly what they are doing! They make to order, so be prepared to wait a little bit (call a head of time) and you’ll be all set! Sidenote, they offer outdoor and indoor eating but its more of a takeout place. Just a few chairs and order at the counter.

The food is amazing here I come almost an hour away just to get there food. The Mac and cheese and candy yams are amazing and don’t get me started on the whitey fish it is so fresh and cooked to perfection the wait time and drive are definitely worth it

I am surprisingly disappointed!!! According to the reviews this place was great or some people just have no taste. The Mac n cheese was just mac! The one piece of fish that I received was mush and the shrimp was salty. I just don’t know what to say. Good luck to the next person
