For $14 bucks this is not worth it. If you want seafood, go elsewhere. Spent $50 for 3 sandwiches that have a total of maybe 15 shrimp. Also ordered a large gumbo that has a total of 3 shrimp. Not sure how they will be in business if they are going to cheat every customer.

This was my first time ordering food from this place…I have to say the food exceeded my expectations after reading some of the negative ratings. I ordered oysters on the half shell, side of fried oysters, calamari, shrimp cocktail and 3 hamburger baskets for 66 bucks. The burgers were pretty damn big, but the patty needed a bit more seasoning, the oysters on a half shell were tasty n not “fishy”, the calamari was not too chewy and cooked just right! I can’t comment on the shrimp cocktail cuz we ran outta space in our tummies!

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The price range is fair . We had wings as appetizers the wings were good . I had the 20 oz. steak and the steak was more fat than anything also wasn’t seasoned correctly . My wife has the stuffed flounder and that was extremely delicious. My oldest daughter had the 12 jumbo fried shrimp which was also really good. And my youngest had the kids meal chicken strip and fries . I would come back. Oh and also the place was clean and organized anything you needed the staff would get it for you. When you get done with your plates or if you had any dirty napkins the staff will come and take care of it .

(02/23/23) Dropped by for lunch with my 2 kids. Our former seafood restaurant in the area had closed recently, and we needed to find another. I tried the seafood platter, oyster po-boy, okra and calamari. I have to say: For a small establishment, they have their stuff together. The flavor throughout was phenomenal. I was particularly impressed with the calamari- not chewy, and not heavily breaded- just how I like it. Also, our waitress was courteous and attentive. We will be returning there soon, no doubt.

We went on a Friday at 7p for crawfish. They were busy but had a few tables open. The wait staff was very prompt with drinks. We ordered the special fried catfish and shrimp, crawfish, oysters, and grilled catfish plate. The oysters tasted super fresh. The food came out one plate at a time as it was ready. The wait staff was constantly refilling drinks and checking on us. We ordered the chocolate cake to go. It was so rich and delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and exceptional service.

I have eaten at several Baytown Seafood locations in and around the Houston area. This particular location was alright. None of the food we had was fantastic, and the service was so-so. The main reason for the visit was crawfish,which ended up being our least favorite item. The crawfish were really muddy flavored and had not been well cleaned prior to boiling. The grilled shrimp are usually good at other Baytowns I have patronized. This location they were seasoned well, but hadn’t been deveined prior to cooking. The fried fish fillet was pretty good, it was the favorite out of the items our table ordered.
