We stopped in a month ago and knew we had to come back again. We went to the “dog friendly” back deck as we had our small dog “Odie” with. We were immediately greeted by Erica and Shannon with some menus and a small cup of water for Odie. We split a California burger with fries that was cooked perfectly and quickly served. Erica was very friendly and when I asked her to compliment the chef for us, Jamie came out and introduced himself to us. Great food, fast and friendly with a nice view of the lake. What more could you ask for?! Highly recommend. Even bought a sweatshirt.

We are regular customers at bayview as we have a cabin near by. I usually don’t have issues with Bayview. But Saturdays (7/8/23) service was absolutely TERRIBLE. 1.We had 3 different waitresses taking care of our table. It was complete chaos! 2.Two of my children’s food was absolutely disgusting low quality box Mac n cheese neither ate it. Why even have mac n cheese on the menu if you can’t make it? 3. The waitress spilled my daughters drink all over her lap While putting our food on the table she did apologize and cleaned it up offered her another pop but never brought it until we were about to leave we had to call on another waitress for it. 3. They forgot to put my fries that I ordered in so I never got those either until we were leaving they did comp those but what’s the point? Also I ordered boneless wings and they were absolutely disgusting. Not hot at all. The sauce was cold which made everything else cold and they were not even covered. And they were literally chicken nuggets in sauce not the quality like they use to be! 4. My husbands spicy fries were not crispy like normal and were soggy. Big disappointment because we love those! 5. And lastly since when does beer come in small plastic cups? It usually comes in the taller glasses? It’s a good way to rip people off! Also as an adult I would appreciate a regular glass with my meal not a kids plastic cup! Bayview we are so disappointed at the service we received over the weekend! We expect better because you can do better! I lived up there for 5yrs been away for two and it’s gone down hill so badly probably within the last 6months! Staff need to be trained better and be more consistent! Our family won’t be back for awhile!

Probably would have tried one of the specialty burgers but they weren’t actually described in the menu and the server didn’t really know what was on the Bayview so I didn’t ask about the others. Patio had a nice view but it was definitely more of a smoking patio than a dining patio.
