The staff were friendly when my family and I walked in and asked if we had any questions! The food was amazing!! It does take a little bit of time to come out but that is the point of this place. They will tell you that it takes time because of the amount of effort they put into each dish. I will definitely be coming back!

The excitement and expectations for this spot were blessedly met. The staff member was very welcoming and patient with us first-timers, and the food was delicious. The galbi and honey garlic wings were crunchy and flavorful, and tasted quite fresh. The fries were perfectly cooked, and my wife ended up liking the fried dumplings the best of all. Admittedly, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but it is a worthwhile treat. I will definitely be returning, and hope the restaurant explodes in deserved popularity so it has a long and successful life in the plaza.

I was excited to see a korean fried chicken restaurant open near my house and couldn’t wait to try it out. We ordered two 8ct of wings with one being plain and one being the secret sauce (orange chicken?), two sides of sauces, fries, and two drinks. it came out to FIFTY dollars. I was baffled at the pricing. We got the food and the secret sauce which we were informed by the staff was supposed to be like orange chicken, but was nothing of the sort. That entire basket went to waste. The plain chicken was delightful! Great crisp, juicy and full of flavor. The fries were also absolutely perfect too. I gave BB-Q 3/5 stars because the service was decent, food came out pretty quick, chicken was great, the sauces were very interesting, and it was way way too expensive and not worth the money. Sadly I do not think we will be coming back.

I love this place the chicken is always fresh, made to order. It takes a little longer and costs a bit more, but is so worth the wait. The variety of flavors is great. My family always gets happy when I say I’m bringing home bbq chicken. I would order the fries to stay, but not to go as I have to drive over 25 minutes to get home and they get soggy during that time. They are amazing fresh. Bbq chicken is definitely worth checking out if you like fried chicken.

My meal was delicious and quite obviously was freshly made. This is a somewhat new location for this brand, and I hope they will do well in the Dr. Phillips area, but I am definitely concerned about them in this very competitive food/beverage district. You can’t survive on strictly tasty meals without something to support it.

Wowww! NEVER disappoints. Love, Love, Love this best Korean chicken wings joint. Their chicken wings are the best in the world, always painstakingly done- crispy, delicious, consistent with food quality across their ‘neighboring’ chain location- Colonial Drive, Orlando. Kimchi fried Rice, Rose Ddeok-Bokki with cheese, Honey Garlic, Gangnam, Hot Mala, Soy Garlic Wings are among our favorites. Our stomachs never hurt after every awesome meals there because they truly incorporate high quality ingredients- now that’s weightier than gold. Love them

Science Strikes
Heard good things about bb.q chicken locations elsewhere so was excited that they were opening one in Dr Phillips. Went inside and the lady working the counter told us it’d be an over 30 minute wait if we wanted to order. Pretty weird since there were no other customers there waiting for food and wings only take a few minutes to cook from raw in a deep fryer. We decided to give them a shot anyways despite the long wait so I asked for a large order and asked to have it half and half-NOPE. Was told that despite this being a $40 order of wings you’re only allowed ONE sauce and if you want two flavors you’d need to go buy two separate smaller orders of wings or buy the large order unsauced and PURCHASE a second sauce on the side?! I’ve eaten at a lot of Korean chicken wing places and not once before has it ever been an issue to get two sauces on a large order. Then on top of that you don’t get anything with the wings, even the tiny little pieces of diced radish they wanted additional money for. Completely crazy that they’re trying to nickel and dime people on an already $40 order of wings. Just felt like they were basically telling us not to bother eating there since it’d take forever to get the food and they’d be nickel and diming us for even a few pieces of raw radish. Totally nuts that you’d start a new restaurant like this.

I have been wanting to try this place ever since they opened on colonial, but just never had the time. But today I passed by there new location in Dr Phillips, and seen it wasn’t busy, so I decided to try it out. I’m sorry to say, but 15+ dollars for 8 wings is crazy to me, but I said forget it let me aleast try. The wings where cooked perfectly, great crisp, and juicy, but that about it, I got the soy garlic, and they barely had sauce, and where they didn’t have sauce, it was very bland. I asked if I could do half and half to be able to try different sauces, but they dont let you do that, for 15 dollars why not? The girl behind the counter did not seem to want to answer any questions, and was quick to point to the menu. And said the descriptions are on here. I can say that I won’t be going back I’d rather go to bonchon, where they let you have two different sauces and 10 wings for around the same price, and to be honest the flavors are better. But this is just my opinion, and experience, try for yourself.
