First time ordering food from here! With how many good reviews this place has, I thought, why not? The flavor is on point. The crunch is on point!!! Unfortunately the size/portion of the chicken does not make any sense. Half order is 8 pieces and whole order is 16 pieces, right? You would think that you’re getting good size pieces; your typical breast, wing, thigh, and leg. WRONG. You are literally getting chopped up pieces of those pieces. Which then they’ll count 16 of those pieces and say it’s a 16 piece (photos down below). It’s disappointing. Until those sizes are changed to match the price they are charging you, it’s a no for me. 3 stars for flavor and crunch!

I went with my sisters and we had a great time. We got the kimchi fried rice, rosè teokkbokki, hot fire wings, secret sauce wings, and honey garlic wings. The kimchi fried rice was the perfect blend of savory and sour. The rose teokkbokki was creamy and sweet. We thoroughly enjoyed those 2 dishes.

Amazing food, great atmosphere !! Only thing is that there’s no signs of self service so we sat waiting at the table for someone to come get our order to find out that we order at the counter. I think it was busy so the worker forgot but overall great place.

Overall: This place is delicious and really friendly. We’ve gotten takeout several times and dined in yesterday. Everyone is friendly, super good flavors for the crispy chicken, nice side dishes and K-pop in the background. Glad to have such a great new restaurant in the neighborhood… Above and beyond: My kids can be picky eaters and ordered plain boneless wings. BBQ also gave us the owners kid’s favorite flavor wings and it was a huge win. I love it when my kids try and enjoy new things. Huge thank you.

If you go, buy wings only, preferably bone-in. That’s our choice. We also found out that Korean style means they cut the thighs and breast pieces in 1/2. When we ordered wings and 8 piece chicken, definitely not KFC or Popeyes! I told the manager after she asked how it was, that I wouldn’t have ordered the 8 piece chicken ever if I knew how it was prepared. But we made it clear that the food and flavors were very delicious! We would definitely be back. I should say, that even before telling her that, she told us to order another basket of wings of a different flavor so we could sample another flavor. We said we were fine, but she insisted and it was on the ‘house’ and didn’t want us to be disappointed in anyway with our visit and experience. Very hospitable! Many businesses could learn from her application of an old saying: ‘Keep the customer satisfied.’ Will definitely be back! Thank you, Ella! (?)
