I’ve been trying to find new spots to try just about every weekend, and this past weekend, my companion and I found ourselves at bb.q Chicken in Troy. I read reviews, watched videos, and saw so many people raving about this place that I had to go try it out for myself! So, first thing I noticed was that the place was not crowded at all and from what I have heard, it usually is and there is quite a wait to get a table, so we were happy that it was pretty empty. Only 4 other tables were occupied at 1 in the afternoon on a Sunday. It isn’t a big place, but not small by any means either. It’s…cozy. I actually like the setup. It’s not intimidating, and I mean for what you are there to eat, who wants to sit in a stuffy, uptight restaurant.

I want to start off by mentioning the fresh vibe of the restaurant. The atmosphere was so cute and inviting. The employees were very welcoming and polite. The food was delicious!! Great customer service and friendly employees. I Love the atmosphere of this restaurant as well as the food. Chicken’s are made fresh and is super crunchy and scrumptious. The cheeseling fries was also delicious. I especially love that I can enjoy eating my food while watching KDrama and listen to Kpop. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend for anyone who’s looking to try Korean BBQ to come check this place out.

note: everything is cooked to order, so there will be a wait! whether you dine in or take out. went here yesterday with a friend for the first time! i’ve had korean fried chicken before and this establishment is definitely worth the visit! very tender chicken. big pieces even if you order boneless! i might try traditional bone in next time— my friend just isn’t a fan of bone in. for starters, we tried the cheeseling, galbi, and maple butter. all had strong flavors but i recommend a little less powder for the cheeseling (it also tastes better with a condiment), more maple syrup/taste for the maple butter (you could really taste the butter more than anything), and a little less smoke for the galbi (the smoky taste was overpowering and we couldn’t really taste anything besides that). other than that, everything was really good! prices were fair for the quality put out. will be trying new flavors next time! hopefully the spicy ones

Delicious Korean Fried Chicken, Asian KFC if you want to call it that haha! Staff is very friendly and loved interacting with our little one. Our favorite flavors are Spicy Golden, Honey Garlic and Gangnam Style. The *Spicy Golden* spicy level to us is a *warm*/spicy feeling, which we find perfect.

Has the most insane sauce options! Highly recommend the soy garlic sauce. The workers were all very nice and the restaurant was very clean. Chicken was juicy and flavorful and the cheese fries are a must get. 11/10 experience.
