This was my second time ordering food. There are very few options for beef ribs and BBQ Centrals are delicious. I asked for the sauce to be on the side and was told that would be a 50 cent charge. I then asked if I could have light sauce and was told Sure! I added a photo to show you what light sauce was that night. The first time I ordered the yams we’re swimming in, I’m not sure, butter, oil. Something not great. The side of sautéed cabbage had zero seasoning and the turkey wing was dry. The only saving grace is the beef ribs, even if I had to wipe off half a cup of sauce.

If I could give no stars I would. Just today, had an uber eats order and received my order totally missing a whole 1/2 chicken. I have been calling for an hour with a hold music and repeat messages. Never again..

I’m just here to say I have never in my life had banana pudding this good. Especially not from a bbq joint. I would’ve took a picture but I ate it too fast. Get a salmon dinner with Mac n cheese and greens, while youre in there and don’t sleep on them hotdogs they’re all beef my boyfriend had one with the peach cobbler and literally everything was sooooo good!!!

One of the worst experiences ever!! Manager thinks that she can talk to one any kind of way. First impression = last impression. Isn’t restaurant survival based on the customer experience? Customers paying for the service and food…No apology, no NOTHING…yelling as if we are at fault. Food which we promptly returned.

The worst customer service I ever experience, they didn’t have nothing on the menu at that location that was advertised and the host was very rude and not accommodating at all. I didn’t even get a chance to try the food, but that was enough for me I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. Iike restaurants with good service make me feel at home, not like im bothering them for trying to patronized they business. I mad I have to give them one star

If you do something everyday, the output should be perfect, the beef ribs I got few days ago, were mediocre at best. The woman behind the desk was courteous but failed to tell me that there is a 10% extra charge if you pay with your credit card lol.

The staff is friendly and my food came out pretty fast. The only soul food place in the city worth going too. Get the catfish sandwich with spicy Mayo and bbq fries.

On the recommendation of a friend I ordered here. I got a medley of items as it was my first time. The food is honestly not very good. They season the skin of the turkey wings and legs but once you get to the meat there is no flavor whatsoever. Cabbage was cooked to death, fries were awful, rib tips were very similar to Happy’s Pizza, macaroni salad was VERY sweet. To top off being expensive (oh and you get charged a whopping 4% to use a card as well they don’t tell you about that over the phone) I have salmonella based food poisoning from this place. Three words for you, DON’T DO IT.

Yall don’t know soul food mac & cheese dry and nasty & them yams & green beans was ok…. Wakeshia had somebody come up there & gave her some drugssss… the lady said I have a Tip for u & Wakeshia said put it in the jar… but the lady repeated & put it in her hand…. 1st time trying this place and I’m very disappointed… All bbq places need kool aid or sweet tea

First time trying this restaurant the ribs were great and the sides greens, macaroni and cheese, and yams were delicious. The portions were very filling. My wife and I couldn’t even finish all of the food but then there was the peach cobbler. I was hoping it would come close to my own at the advisement of the waitress who took my order but it was not. Maybe you can put a bit more time into this desert.
