I stopped by BBQ Pete’s today and I have to say that the food was fantastic. I tried both the “Sandwich with no name” and the chopped Brisket sandwich and they were both outstanding. The meat was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for delicious BBQ in the area.

I was staying in Lakewood overnight at the Best Western and was heading to Safeway for some food when I saw this place across the parking lot so decided to stop. I ordered the ribs and chicken meal with bbq beans, baked potato salad, and corn bread. Everything is really good. I will go back if in the area again.

The employees were super nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean and had a good selection of sauces. Plus they have free ice cream for dessert! But the food was just okay. It wasn’t bad, but I don’t think I’d go back.

Great BBQ with sauces for the meek to the fire-eater. My wife’s salad was the HALF salad. The pic gives you a sense of the HUGE size of her HALF salad, The Double Dawg Deal is great: 2 of the same OR try 2 different dogs. The meat falls off the bone on the rack of ribs. All you can drink soda for the kids. Ànd finally, BEER for the grown up kidz!! This place has converted from Famous Dave’s Fans to BBQ Pete’s Pals!! 5⭐️’s !!

So out of all places I’ve tried for bbq this is by far one of my favorites. I always order the pulled pork sandwich with bbq and corn bread. They do offer two free ribs for service members in uniform on tuesdays which is a plus. It can be pricey but I personally think it’s worth it. The ribs are cooked real nice and have amazing flavor the pulled pork sandwich most of the time is super good I usually add more sauce cause on occasion it can be dry. The butter that comes with corn bread is so good and the cornbread I enjoyed a lot and the bbq beans is good it is what you’d expect not the fanciest but definitely tasty. I do always order a soda and there is free icecream and a sign that shows ways to eat the ice cream one being a root beer float. Lots of sauce options by the fountain drinks and all good flavors. I recommend this place a lot I go here quite often.

We love BBQ food and are very picky…we like to think that we are BBQ connoisseurs. We are from out of town and this place nailed it! They are truly a hidden gem. We were shocked that we were the only people in the restaurant at 6pm. Everyone is missing out! My husband and I split the three meat platter (ribs, chicken, pulled pork) with a spicy sausage link, mac ‘n cheese, and a large corn muffin. Our 17 year old son ordered a pulled pork sandwich with Mac n’ cheese. They have 4 different BBQ sauces to choose from; all were delicious! The meat on the ribs slid right off and my husband said they were the best ribs he has ever had. Everything was amazing! They also have complimentary ice cream cones, which my son took them up on and and had 3! Highly recommended Pete’s BBQ!

The food here is delicious! We got a full rack of ribs and two orders of fries. All three of us are full and very happy. The staff were all very nice, and at 6 on a Wednesday, it was pretty quiet. Oh, and you get a free self serve ice cream cone on your way out!
