Nothing crazy, but decent Teriyaki in the area and close walking distance to many things. I ordered the regular chicken with white rice, broccoli and veggie stir fry.

I liked the veg food here. But I wished there are more options. Unfortunately, its just one veg option – tofu teriyaki.

Good food fairly priced. The beef was really good. It was almost like a braised short rib that you might get at a fancy restaurant. The rice was unexpected. It was not a short grain Calrose type (typical of Korean or Japanese) but more like a “broken rice” that you might get in a Vietnamese rice dish. It also was slightly aromatic.

Before the doors even opened I knew I had to eat the Teriyaki here, because I could smell it cooking on the grill. The menu is laser focused on delivering one delicious meal for a price anyone can afford. There’s enough customizability built in that you can get exactly what you want, both with the protein options (regular or spicy chicken, tofu, or beef for a little extra cost) and the base you put it on (white rice, brown rice, yakisoba, vegetable stir-fry, broccoli, cabbage salad, mixed-green salad) – pick up to 3!

I had the pork and tofu. The tofu was good, but the pork was great! The sauces were also very good, spicy wasn’t that spicy for me. But it might be for others. The combination of the pork juice and the add-on sauces made my rice extra delicious. Sometimes I feel like rice can taste dry or old at establishments like this, but it tasted fresh and cooked correctly. I preferred the vegetables as a side over the broccoli. Also, I don’t know if they hooked me up with the pork portion, but it was a lot. Definitely worth trying.

$16 for an underwhelming amount of food.

I’ve eaten BBs often from their other location in the U district many times, so I was very excited to see they opened a location downtown. I stopped in today and it was just as good! Their yakisoba and pork is amazing as always.

My first time to try it on Thursday and I loved it. Friendly staff, good portion and tasty food. I gave 4 star as I did not receive the receipt.

Very good. Nice sized portions and wonderful options. I had brown rice and half spicy/half regular chicken with the grilled vegetables. The chicken was delicious and had the right amount of spiciness (in my opinion). The veggies were hot (temp) but till very crunchy.
