We went up June 17th 2022 and it was closed. Extremely disappointed. My family went up with no food. Completely ruined our day. Stopped at Sara’s on way home.

The concession is never open no matter when I go. I also live 2 hours away so I don’t go often. I try to go at least once or twice a month. So I can’t speak on the food. At this point I’m starting to think that the concession stand is a figment of everyone’s imagination because I have never seen it. As far as everything else… It’s a beach with water and sand and it’s free, what more can you ask for? It’s clean, I don’t ever see any garbage laying around, that thing that they have to spray off people’s feet, they need another one of those! There’s always some woman with 9 children yelling “come on Tragediegh! Your sister Macchiato needs to do it too!” And then Tragediegh finishes and goes right back into the sand and everything starts all over. 10/10 highly recommend.
