We had a great time at Beach Road: the view is spectacular, the service is attentive, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is good. We got the rather filling focaccia and the top-notch tempuras which was served piping hot, fresh, and light. A delight.

Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday! It was a lovely restaurant with a great view of a gorgeous Martha’s Vineyard sunset over the water.

We were very disappointed in the food. We had dined at this restaurant 3 years prior and had an excellent meal. This time, the food was sub-par – overly salty, poorly presented. We were especially looking forward to the butterscotch pudding for dessert. It was barely thicker than soup and the butterscotch could not be tasted. And it’s pricey. My entree was $52 dollars. I was expecting amazing and got mediocre.

Good dinner spot in Vineyard Haven with some creative dishes. I would highly recommend the focaccia, lamb meat balls (they have a little spicy kick), and Brussel sprouts (similar to a momofuku preparation). The charred cabbage was alright but seems like an after thought to the delicious broth it is served in. Squash soup was more of a curry soup and needed some serious salt added. Front of house staff were lacking. Beautiful setting with great views across lagoon pond.

Great food with a good variety…a little limited for shellfish allergies… Save room for dessert… Service can be a little slow, but why hurry from such a great spot.

One of the best places to eat on the Island. We split the crab appetizer, halibut, and garganelli. Everything was delicious and the pasta was one of the best I’ve ever had. The sangria was also gingery, unique, and refreshing. Great staff, too.

My four friends and I went to the restaurant for our first meal at Martha’s Vineyard. We were greeted and seated. After we received water, a gentleman came to the table and asked if we had a reservation? We replied we did not and he apologetically said he needed to ask us to move because he thought we were the party with the reservation. We were never asked if we had a reservation, we were just seated. We left the restaurant, the same gentleman came running behind us to say he has a table for us. We were seated, again and place our order for dinner (the waitress was great). Three of us ordered the Blue Swimmer Crab, which was described as lump crab, there was one piece of lump crab in the dish, it had more fillers than lump crab and the shrimp tempura was just okay.

By far the best place to eat on the island. Everything we ordered was unbelievably delicious, especially the fresh corn bread. The staff is friendly and the service is good. Highly recommend. We have seen the Obamas here many times!

Great spot. Service is super and cocktails are delightful. Food is solid. Last visit fries were cold and steak was almost to salty to eat. Everyone has an off night. Previous visits had no such issues.
